I had a wonderful experience at Southernmost Surgery. I was a little nervous about having a procedure done. Dr Blass and Courtney were fabulous! The entire staff have the best customer service and are so friendly! I highly recommend them! They really make you feel comfortable and explain everything to you.

Treatment was prompt, beyond competent and professionally friendly. From the welcoming and informative staff to the treatment itself, I cannot recommend Dr Blass and his team highly enough, particularly Courtney and Victoria, the ultrasound tech. I had a spider vein treatment and the work was thorough and painless, beyond an eeny weeny pinch. Rooms are clean, well-lit and as welcoming as a medical procedure room can be. A staff member reminded me of my next appointment on my way out.This should be the standard of care, but in Key West, it's an absolute gem and a standout.

Maybe too long but.... Against doctor's recommendation, I'd put off having a colonoscopy for years. I freely admit it with some embarrassment... I am a bad patient. 🙁 Finally, my doc talked me into having the at home Cologuard done so I gave in. The results came back positive. The results also go into some quite detail that it doesn't mean I have colon cancer but it might. Yup. Time for the full process and my doctor sent me to Dr. Blass and his happy band of caring people. From the first meeting to discuss the procedure to the time I went back for a follow-up, they made it so much easier than I anticipated. About the procedure itself? I'd been foolish to put it off. From my point of view, I met nice people, took a mid morning nap and then went home with negative results and two fewer, non cancerous growths that hadn't paid rent so the doctor evicted them. Even better... That dark worry I'd buried so deep in the back of my mind that I didn't realize was there.... It was gone. Guys.... I'm talking to you. Don't put this off due to some worry or feeling of embarrassment. I've been there and won't go back. I can't talk about others but everyone at Southernmost Surgery and Veins were great!!

My personal experience with Dr. Blass was exceptional. Dr. Blass in my opinion is a gifted surgeon, a caring physician, and a considerate man. Dr. Blass in a “mensch”.
