This was the worst hospital experience for me ever. The only person who was good and listened to me was my pre-op nurse. I went for an out-patient surgery and I told everyone who came in the room I’m allergic to adhesives, that I need Benadryl to keep from breaking out. Nobody listen now I repeatedly kept telling them, and I also had on a bracelet that said allergy that they put on me. They kept asking well what about a Tegaderm? What about this type adhesive and I repeatedly told them that all adhesive even the adhesive that’s on the heart monitor they hook you up to all of that gives me a rash. I also told them though that if you give me Benadryl while I’m in the hospital That it’ll keep me from breaking out everywhere they did not listen and now that I am home I see a burn on my stomach. Looks kinda like a blister have been scraped off, but it’s an adhesive burn from the adhesive they had on me and that was not there before I went in for surgery. They never gave me any Benadryl no matter how many times I asked when I would call for a nurse when I was on the floor recovering I had to literally hit my call button three times before anybody would come in each time I call for a nurse. It took at least 30 to 45 minutes for somebody to come see about me and that was because I kept laying on my call light They would not let me get up to use the restroom. I kept telling them I needed to use it and they kept saying no you can’t get up. You can use the bed pan. They try to make me use it while laying down in bed. I repeat they told them I can’t use the bathroom like this Finally like maybe two hours later a different nurse came in and she actually let me go into the bathroom and I was able to immediately use the bathroom. She was also a nice nurse. The last nurse I had before I was sent home. I don’t remember her name, but her and my pre-op nurse were the only ones who listened to me. I would not recommend anyone coming to this hospital the wait times for a nurse actually come see me after to turn on a call. It was absolutely ridiculous. I should not have to be hitting the light several times before you come in. I was literally in there crying telling them I was in pain because I need to go to the restroom and it was putting too much pressure on in my abdomen because my bladder was full. They were telling me I shouldn’t be experiencing pain because I was still under some of the anesthesia and they were like OK well, I’ll go tell someone that you’re experiencing some breakout pain. I repeatedly kept telling them if you would let me go to the bathroom I can use to relieve pressure I would feel better. If you want to be treated respectfully and actually be heard by the medical professionals I recommend going somewhere else. The procedure itself was fine it was the care I received afterwards that was just awful.

I'm from the Atlanta area so it's a little different. But I had got in a car accident I was sitting at a red light and a lady hit us from behind going about 35 and didn't even hit the brakes... This was the most efficient polite and educated experience I've ever had at hospital. They didn't do unnecessary x-rays didn't even suggest them was very concerned about my pain and trying to help me with aftercare because I'm not from around here. The very nice woman from billing who are usually hounding about a payment was giving me all the necessary information I needed I'm so thankful I chose to go here instead of urgent care. Thank you for the experience guys I needed it I would highly recommend this hospital or the emergency room in my experience to anyone especially family or friends. Good care is hard to come by 🫶🏽

Maybe we just got lucky, but I took my son to the ER last week, where he was QUICKLY brought to a room after triage.
He ended up getting admitted and I will never forget his nurses, Cindi and Bridget. Also Jamie from respiratory. They worked so hard to not only provide top notch care for my son, but made sure that my husband and I were comfortable, too. I cannot thank you all enough for prioritizing my sweet boy and giving him the best possible care, despite not even specializing in pediatric care.

We see so many bad reviews on this hospital, we were apprehensive to come to the emergency department. But, what a surprise! We checked in (about 5 minutes), waited about 10 minutes for a registration clerk and quickly went into a room. The triage nurse was very professional and informative. Within 30 minutes we saw a ER Physician. He was professional and very thorough with his examination. Ordered labs, CT scan, and with in 2 hours we had results. The staff was very compassionate and we felt well cared for. They earned 5 stars for sure!

Went in with debilitating sciatica back and leg pain and came out feeling SO much better. Excellent care and service from the triage nurse to check in to cat scan techs, nurses and the doctor. They were thorough and gave me pain management care that exceeded my expectations. We’re traveling in the area and appreciate being treated like family! Thank you!!

i didn't have a choice to stay here because of insurance, and the experience reminded me of my lack of choice at every turn.

the operating room team made fun of my appearance when they thought i was still under anesthesia, treated me differently because i was the patient of a private practitioner (because of a rare chronic illness, mind you) and they had med school beef with his team, and worst of all gave me hospital psychosis after a brand-new nurse tried to place an IV in my hand in the dark. the team then dug in my arm to try to place a line, holding me down while i cried and screamed for help. i have a very high pain tolerance and it was some of the worst pain i've ever felt -- i then hallucinated for the rest of the night, and i still feel spikes of fear months later.

oh, and on top of that i took home a respiratory infection because my intake nurse was unmasked and coughing in my face after loudly talking to a coworker about how she thought she had the flu. i went in super optimistic and excited to be free of a condition i've lived with for a decade. i left fearful, bruised, and ill.

I'm new to the area, and I'm not sure what the expectations for healthcare are here. But I can say it was way better than any care I ever had back west. The check-in guy, registration, The PA's and nurses have amazing bedside manor and empathy here in perspective to where we used to live. I love it here.

This hospital is not the place for a child or anyone. Today I called the emergency room to let them know what going on while I am 29 weeks pregnant and they told me to call my ob instead of helping me. No wonder why this hospital name is Camden kill !!
