This was going to be my first time going to this clinic to get an MRI. I didn't even get to go in because the door was locked, I had to wait for the receptionist to come outside to ask me if l I had an appt just to tell me that I was late so I had to reschedule. My appt was at 2:30 but apparently not because I arrived at 2:15 and she said I was late, that I HAD to be there at 2pm. Later in the day she called me to reschedule because I "missed" my appt and I told her no thanks that I was gonna get referred somewhere else, thank you... and she just hanged up on me. In my opinion they need to hire real professional receptionist, that actually care for the patients.

Facility was very clean and organized. Registration was easy and tech savvy using a tablet—no paper forms! Staff was courteous and professional from start to finish. I would recommend and return to this facility.

Technician was great, however the receptionist Virgil was rather rude. He called me 5 minutes before my appointment time and asked if I was on my way. Then as I’m sitting in reception a woman tries to enter through the front door but it is locked, she knocks and peers in and Virgil hardly looks at her. She comes back and knocks again and he says to himself “haha the door isn’t going to open itself”. Very weird and not at all how paying customers should be treated. Again, my MRI technician was excellent and very professional, reception was not.

My first experience at this location was horrendous so I gave it one star. The issue was with the receptionist, not the Imaging Technician. My second experience a year later was just fine so I balanced it out at three stars. I went back because I had to wait three weeks for an appointment here and an additional 10 days at the one in Santa Cruz. BTW, we’ve never had any issue with Santa Cruz. They would get 5 stars.

This place basically never answers the phone! My Dr faxed the order for my MRI 5 times and South County Imaging said that the pages were completely black! When the phone did get answered, I was hung up on. Do not go here!
