My mother came in today for a check up appointment at 11:00 am 3/27/24. She was neglected by all the staff and once she came in the little room waiting for nurse/ doctor she waited a hour in that room for one to answer and got fed up and left. Looking at some other reviews mentioning Financial reasons going there and also how majority of the people come to this place to get the same experience is offensive. We come here due to it being local and other personal reasons, We’re fortunate to being able to pay all the services done here but even paying to get their attention and them neglecting and discriminating her is inconsiderate. She also mentioned how the staff neglected a lot of the patients here aswell as they were gossiping instead of taking note of the patients there in line and will be rude If you interrupt them speaking and will give a sassy attitude throughout your experience there. This isn’t the first experience with them doing this to our family, as I mentioned my family is doing well financially thanks be to god, my mom drives a luxurious car, when they have seen her arrive they make rude comments about her going to this place since it’s a public/ free( with insurance) clinic, talking about if we’re talking a handout or if we’re being cheap coming to this place. I hope to the other people coming to this place don’t get the same treatment and experience.

This place comes off like they go out of their way to make me or my wife/kids feel small. In addition to that, there is no continuity of care. If you see the same doctor a few times, you're lucky. I've seen SO MANY different doctors at this location. I've always got a new GP, to the point that I have no clue who to put as my GP when seeing a specialist/anyone outside of this location. Years ago, a doctor told me I should be doing something more to provide for my familyz, if I was relying on handouts like I was, I wasn't doing enough. I was told by another doctor she didn't have time to hear my problems and I needed to hurry up. I come here because I have to. Not because I want to. I truly wish I were more fortunate and able to purchase better insurance for my family. This is the reality of things, though and it's significantly better than nothing.

Do not use the dental side of this place. They are rude if you are not Mexican. They will cause unnecessary stress by not fact checking for services offered by your insurance company. They also spend more time talking amongst each other than they do assisting people.

I had my first experience at SVCHC yesterday, and it was easily one of the best visit I have ever had at a medical facility. The intake staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and there was little to no wait time. I think I waited for a total of 5 minutes for my Dr. My Dr. was Dr. Ward and she is incredible. She made me feel like I was being heard, listened to my problems and took action appropriately.

Been going to SVCHC for about 10 years now. Seems very well run. My doc appointments are almost always right on time. Usually seen within a few minutes of stated time.
Great staff. Completely bi-lingual in Spanish if that is necessary.

My experience at Sonoma Valley Community Health Center has been positive. Everyone I have interacted with has been lovely, kind, and quite helpful. Dr. Lloyd in chiropractic has been great. He’s a good person and has helped me heal my back. I always feel better after visiting with him. Both mental and physically.

I went in for what ended being an ear infection, and the nurse practitioner that came in the room tried patronizing me into not having the doctor I came to see, come in to see me. I told him that I had taken ibuprofen so that I could drive to the care center, and he ended up prescribing some ear drops for my ear. They cost me $75, and didn’t work. I ended up going to a free clinic, where the doctor volunteering there gave me regular antibiotics, and the infection felt better in a few days. I also had my blood taken here once and the nurses were very unprofessional. They talked about all of the people that had fainted that day, and I also fainted that day. As I was I passing out, I could hear one of them saying, “I can’t believe I have to do more paperwork for this.” Maybe the problem was their bedside manner, not all of the patients that day.

He has been heeling my most chronic ailments.
