Clean facility, RT's were amazing with my dad's stay, nurses were very accommodating for my family as we made multiple visits to see our Dad. Our Dad had been in previous facilities and Sonoma Specialty Hospital is by far the best one! We would highly recommend this facility to other families in need. Big Thank you to all of the nurses, RT, dialysis nurses and Dr for all the support with taking care of our Dad.

We spent 3 weeks with our son recovering from a brain injury. This hospital is not equipped for brain/Neuro, most of the nurses had a medicate and forget mentality. IE medicate them to sleep and repeat every 4-6 hrs. I had to advocate for him every day! Most of the nurses were mad, I didn't care! I was looking out for my son who couldn't do it for himself. We had a good experience with management but I would not take any of my family there again. Unfortunately we were referred there. Please do your research before going to any facility. We are now in San Francisco at an incredible facility. CPMC Davies Campus. One of the top rehab facilities period.

I spent 8 weeks in this hospital after my motorcycle accident, and I had excellent care 90% of the time. Most of the nurses were amazing. I was sad when I had to be transferred. I will miss the loving nurses I got to know so well.

My best friend and partner of ¹3 years was sent her from Sutter providence for rehab after a month of trying to recover from a tractor accident in which he broke 11 ribs on one side and 6 ribs on the other side well the Sutter team plated2 ribs and my love got mrsa and they were unable to do anymore now they are fighting to get a grip on the infection and put my guy on a ventilator to help his breathing eventually he is put on a trachatamy he is infection for pain and he has never had that and haldol makes them hallucinate and paranoid and that other one ketamine what a cocktail of drugs during the night his heart stops and they put a temporary pace maker on the surface like normally pacemakers are done but my guy pulls the wire out of his heart so the doctor tells me it would be best to insert the device in to his hearts they do and the next day tell me that they are going to send him to Sonoma to specialty care where they can start rehabilitation. He still has mrsa and a feeding tube in his stomach and he is still using the tech to breath but they are going to start rehabilitation and the nurse (Alice) tells me there is no reason he can't do things for himself like sit up in the bed or readjusthimself when he needs to he just won't what? Wait I don't know if you have ever even bruised 1 rib how bad it hurts for months and he has been there for about a month with 11 broken on one side and 6 on the other and as far as I know they only plated 2 so I don't know enough to say wait a minute who is ordering this or something I am just trusting that they are doing the best for Jim even though in my heart it doesn't feel right he can't speak to me or his respiratory se who by the way was so awesome she would put a mouth piece in when we couldn't understand him for a minute and my guy says he I s afraid he won't be able to breath when he goes there and the nurse and I reassure him it will be fine and the last words to me were Lori don't leave me and I tell him I will be there with him and will probably beat him there well it is around 530 pm and we get there and of course they have to get him settled in and they shut down visiting at 6 or 630 so I call the nurse and ask if it would be OK if I could see him so he knows I was there and she said she would ask to be sure I could see him if it was after hours so she would call me well I live in lake county and had to drive back and it was getting dark and I have a hard time driving at night long distance and she finally called me back and I had to start back Kong before so I wasn't able to be there she said he was restless so they gave him deleted to help him sleep and he never took that either well I get there the next day and his daughter and son and ex wife had came also from lake co. And his daughter is a nurse and her first words were why are his Hans and feet so swollen and retaining water he need to be on laser to get rid of that water well I said he wasn't like that when I saw him the days before well he was still out of it from the deleted but knew they were there so the Dr w a set there so the mom and kids went to get a bite to eat while we waited on the doctor meanwhile his feeding tube is leaking all over the bed from his stomach so much that they had to change his bedding a few times within the hour and couldn't figure out why it was leaking and I said we'll can't you bring in the person to take care of it but they just kept cleaning it and of course it was because he was swelling in his stomach and it popped the apperadist that was holding the feeding tube in. It was like a plug and it kept popping out just enough that it would leak so the Dr came and I asked him about his swelling and he said he had him on Lasix but he was trying to balance his fluids because he was also dry and I asked how his kidneys were functioning and he said they were functioning fine so he was going to checheck a few things and come back and let me know well the kid and mom were still out to lunch and it was

I’m finally getting around to writing this review. My uncle was hospitalized a few months back at SSH. He received dialysis during his stay and I have to give a big shout out to the dialysis nurse Josh for taking care of my uncle during his stay! I witnessed his professionalism, how he was able to calm my uncles concerns, and keeping him comfortable during his time there!

I had a family member staying here not too long ago, and I’m just amazed at how great they took care of my love one. They put patient care first which is what families really want. Besides the nurses being friendly and caring, they were also approachable and I felt comfortable asking them questions. I would recommend this place to others!

This was the worst and lowest part of my life. The nurses at this fine establishment were caring and respectful to my situation. Especially the dialysis crew. Josh and Amanda were the gold star of the hospital. They were completely professional and made me forget about all I've been through.

I am blessed to have this urgent care center close to where I live. In cases of emergency, it’s amazing that in this small town they are well equipped. I had an injury and Dr. Flower was my attending physician. When you’re in great pain it is comforting to know that you are with a competent doctor Who is warm and caring. The rates are also very reasonable especially for “self paying” patients or those without insurance. What I appreciate in this facility is that they are not the kind of hospital that lets you pay for all sorts of exams that you don’t really need. Dr Flower told me that I do not need an Xray and her diagnosis would be the same.( Had an experience in another hospital where they continue doing tests and exams even if you already have a fresh result of the same tests. )She did a good job of giving me the pain management I needed, as well as giving me handouts and information I needed to help my injury. Unlike in most hospitals where you wait hours to be attended to, they respond to you right away. And the staff don’t act like robots. I am a happy patient. I highly recommend this. Open everyday 9-9pm.
