Best to go in person or call the phone number with all your information ready. I have insurance as well as Wife's making it double. I used both insurance and qualified for two sets of glasses. Young Eye Doctor I can tell he cares a lot for your health and financial state. If you go in person you can get a feel of the service and if it's not your atmosphere just walk the Mall and enjoy the rest of your time there. Best thing about SSE they make the glasses on site.

I needed a pair of glasses in the same day. Maria took my prescription, checked for the lense availability and told me to look for a frame i liked. Maria was very helpful in choosing a frame, and within in LESS THAN an hour, my glasses were ready!!! Thank you for the wonderful service today, on Black Friday!

Worst glasses i ever had; fake replacement policy, overpriced and does not stand behind their product. They added $25.00 for a replacement plan that does not exist. You have to buy your replacement pair of glasses. They are gougers…cheap glasses with a phony replacement plan. Go to lens crafters inside of Macy’s for a better pair of glasses at a better price. Go anywhere but to this rip off store. N

Life Saver!
I lost my glasses during my vacation trip and was not able to see or do anything without them. Thankfully, Dr. Maria was able to look up my prescription lenses and had it in stock! She had my new glasses ready within 30 minutes! They also had promotions, which was a plus!

I’ve been their customer for 3 years already. This is THE place to have your eye needs taken care of— you will find out which pair of glasses or contacts that fit best for you. The best part though is the staff. Rachel, Andrew and the whole team are always so helpful—they will ensure your order right and go above and beyond to help new customers in the store. It’s humbling they all remember my name and monthly orders! The staff also ensure safety protocols are upheld too, so when you walk in, there is hand sanitizer and new masks available if needed.

Nick the owner should be proud of this team— you can’t replace quality for anything else. This store has it.

Getting Rx: The optometrist that assisted me was wonderful. She was informative, kind, and organized. I gave the staff my glasses to clean and replace my lenses. When I gave my glasses they took the original case.

Picking up my glasses:
- the glasses were still droopy cat eyes
- they never cleaned the frames
- they never returned my original glasses case
- they bent my glasses
- the employee was defensive and didn’t apologize on behalf of the company for my experience
- she didn’t even ask me to put them on so she could adjust them
- all I got was a “call the manager, we can’t do anything, we send things to our lab in Kentucky”

Trust me, if you want to feel like a valued customer do not go to Daly City where no one cares about your vision experience.

The staff is horrible. I’ve gone to this location for 25 years. They overtalk and cut you off when asking questions. The older male did this and lied. After I get my replacement I am never using them again. Let’s see if they didn’t loose the reorder. Passive aggressive behavior is uncalled for.

Dr. Ken Chen is very knowledgeable and patient. He takes his time to explain my situation and provides several alternatives that would work best for me. Unlike other optometrist, that would only take about 15-20 mins per patient. I keep coming back to him, highly recommend Dr. Chen!
