When I made the appointment I was told that I wouldn't have a co-payment, only to find out that is was several hundred dollars. No problem, but I would have been able to adjust my finances prior to my appointment! In addition, I was called to the back, for my appointment, 40 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. Several patients arrived 15-30 minutes late for their appointments, but were seen before me ( same type of exam) so, basically, the communication in this office sucks! Have a nice day!

The worst, most disrespectful scheduling experience I've had. A robot calls you after hours (7:15pm) to tell you to schedule an appointment (when nobody is available to get it scheduled). So you press 1 to schedule and they tell you to call back during business hours. They then recommend to schedule online, but their online scheduler is broken. Then when I finally called in during business hours and waited on hold for 10 minutes, I was connected with an Indian call center, which took all of my information down and then said "I'll now connect you with the scheduler", which transferred me to some guy's direct-to-voicemail. I tried to leave a message twice but a robot kept telling me it could not detect a message, so I hung up. Then I finally tried their chat service on their website (since the online scheduler is broken), and hopped in line behind *48* people. So here I am, writing this review 30 minutes later, still number 15 in line thinking about how much of my time this company has wasted. Hope they are more competent in person.

*Fun Update: after a 45 min wait for the chat, they told me I can’t schedule with them and need to talk to the person at the office. Called the number provided and got connected to the same Indian call center again, who once again took down my information, and this time told me that the office would call me back in 24-48 hours. What year is it at SimonMed?

*Another Update: just received another call from a robot scheduler (not the human who was supposed to call me from the office in Daly City). This time during actual business hours so I “pressed 1” to schedule an appointment. Right back to the call center! And they once again informed me that they cannot schedule my appointment and I have to wait for a call from a “PA” at the office. This is seriously an embarrassing display of incompetence by SimonMed for scheduling a simple appointment. Hope all the negative reviews were worth the money you saved by blocking me from calling your office directly and outsourcing all your customer service to robots and call centers.

Staff at the site were very friendly and helpful. The imaging tests were quick and comfortable. The technicians explained what would be happening ahead so I felt reassured during the process. Reception staff answered my questions and helped me access information easily.

Update 2/10: It's been a week since SimonMed responded "we will be reaching out." Take a guess whether or not they've actually reached out to me?

Chose SimonMed as they could get me in within 3 days vs. 10 days staying at UCSF. I had a 7:30 am appointment today (Monday). SimonMed called Friday to say they didn't have an order from my doctor yet. I called back, and it took me 6 attempts to finally speak to someone who could help. I was either accidentally hung up on, or mistakenly transferred back to the main telephone tree the first 5 times. All for them to tell me they still didn't have the order.

I called today at 6:00 am before heading from SF to Daly City to make sure they had the doctor's order. They confirmed they did. Great. I arrived only to be told "we don't have an order." I was told that their scheduling team must have made a mistake and there was nothing they could do. Great.

I sat in the parking lot and called scheduling. After some run around, I got a supervisor who confirmed they DID have the order but because my doctor wasn't in their system, they would need to add him before I could proceed. What?!? Like you have the order, which is all you told me you needed, and now you're adding a new hurdle? But don't worry...they can expedite the input and have it done within 48 hours. Only then can I schedule an appointment.

I would have been better off just waiting for UCSF. Lesson learned.

My appointment is 7:30am, checked in 7:15am, and got call to service at 8:30am. I waited ONE HOUR to get my MRI. No one informed me about delaying, technical issues nor anything. I am very disappointed your scheduling. This is the first time coming to your facility for service and also maybe the last time.

Please fix your scheduling system and train your staffs to inform patients if the services are behind.

The employees were nice and courteous. Tracy, the technician, was funny and nice. She made my visit very comfortable and worthwhile. The wait was not bad. The facility is clean. I also like that there's plenty of free parking. I highly recommend SimonMed Imaging.

The wait time was reasonable. After filling out the medical forms, I only had to wait 10 minutes to be seen. The MRI tech was polite and professional. The only concern I had was that when I was done, nobody was at the front desk to answer my question as to how, when, and if I could get a copy of my MRI result. I waited for 5 minutes. The front door was wide open, and I believe there was one person in the waiting room. I’m not sure though if he was a patient or just waiting for somebody.

Tech was great. Also front desk staff was cheerful and quick.
I am used to paying co pay after insurance is billed. However they insist on payment at time of service. Would be good to amend policy.
