Just had my very first mammogram and it was so much better than expected! The new expansion upstairs as a Women’s Center is great. There was fresh coffee and snacks, plus the gowns were warm! The receptionist - Lorrayne, and Mammo Technologist - Tristan, were both so kind and made what is thought to be an anxiety fueled exam pain free, quick and easy. I had my results back the same day as well! I’ll definitely return here for any other imaging I may need.

Everyone who works here did a remarkable job helping me from start to finish. I was able to get an appointment with ease, and my ultrasound tech was amazing! Very professional. Will be back if need be (:

The location is fine, it’s a shame that Staff has to deal with their own Scheduling & Billing departments that never have to face the customer. I was given 4 different prices before they settled on what to charge me, claiming each time it was my insurance company giving them the price. Which in the end I was told - it is a new system and we are all still learning. Had you said that initially i may have been more sympathetic. However I truly believe that was a lie. When i booked i was told $125, 2 days later I received a phone call to confirm my appointment and share that i had a $115 out of pocket because i had not meet my deductible. When i arrived I was told $23.15 (?) which I questioned and was told i had a credit balance, from previous difference between what was collected and what insurance paid. Final price when I arrived for my appointment $116. Not one of these numbers match - and when I asked for an account statement to see where the credit went…. No one seems to be able to provide that statement. Not even the billing department!! In the future I will be seeking other imaging centers. I am tired of receiving the run around.

First Time Visit at Clermont Location.

From the moment I arrived, Lorrayne greeted me with a warm, radiant smile. Her kindness, empathy, and professionalism made the experience exceptional and truly rewarding.
April, who performed my abdomen study, also provided outstanding service. Her professionalism and attention to detail, along with her human touch, made my visit extremely pleasant. The service was fast,

Great experience every time I’ve been here. Courteous front desk staff. Staff makes sure you are calm and comfortable. Nia completed my MRI today which was rather difficult for my arm, however, she made sure I was in a comfortable position bundled up and even played the music I requested. Great Customer Service, was nervous about my procedure but staff was pleasant and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Staff answered all and any of my questions even though I may have thought some were out of my nervousness. Facility was clean and not crowded, i assumed it was due to the effective scheduling and they even accommodated walk-ins on my visit, Amazing!!!!!!

I will start with the bad so that others are aware when visiting SimonMed. They do not know how to appropriately bill insurance/check what you should owe at the time of your appointment, which is very concerning and something consumers should keep an eye out for. I am the policy holder on my insurance, and between my spouse having a child and another child having a procedure early this year, we had met the family deductible and the family max out of pocket for in-network providers (which SimonMed is in-network for me as well). While the family limits had been met, my individual had not, but that does not matter as once the family limits are met, all individual's on the policy would be considered met as well if the provider pulls the full policy details instead of just the individual. All this to say, when I arrived, I should have been told my total was $0 instead of the $200-some they asked for. Other providers in the area that collect payment at the appointment seem to get this correct, but SimonMed has failed at this twice for me. Had this only happened once, I would not be writing this review at 3 stars, but twice over 2 months is what concerns me as clearly they have not corrected the issue. This front desk issue is clearly either a training issue or a configuration issue with the billing software they use. Then, instead of accepting being shown your policy accumulators showing that limits have been met directly, they make you call insurance (instead of them calling) for them to be told that they are charging the incorrect amount, leading to a delay in your appointment.

Now for the good, once you get to the staff in the back, they are very professional and friendly. They answer any questions or concerns you have, and everything goes quickly and smoothly. They alone would make a 5 star experience, had it not been for the 1 star experience from the front desk.

Tracy Hillman was incredibly helpful, kind and patient! I was misinformed when I had originally called to ask some questions before going into SimonMed and even though this was NOT her fault at all, she quickly worked on getting me scheduled and helped! She was very communicative during the entire process while we waited on my insurance authorization. She definitely turned the entire situation around for me and was extremely efficient. Very happy she was there and swift to make everything right and help me!
