DO NOT RECOMMEND! This place is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. My mother just had BAHA implant surgery with Dr. Wazen at the Silverstein Institute a few days ago and if we could’ve chosen some place else, we would’ve. We should’ve done more research. Prior to her first scheduled surgery she had to be admitted to the ER for severe back pain. I called and called this place to reschedule to no avail, and finally decided to just walk over to their department. When I did, the receptionist was kind and advised me that it was better that I had walked over since it’s hard to get through to them via phone. She actually admitted that! I should’ve decided then that this wasn’t the place for my mom. Now POST surgery she had some swelling that she was concerned about and I called this place asking for info and NO ONE got back to me. It wasn’t until I called the following day and got a hold of an after hours answering service who consulted with the on-call doctor, that we got some vague help. My mother was rushed to the ER on the 31st due to a seizure, post-surgery with Dr. Wazen and of course I cannot get anyone to answer from this office. DO NOT GO HERE.

You never answer the phone. I've tried every department and no one answers the phone. This is unacceptable. It's making me think about leaving your practice. I like Dr Wazen and Dr Holmes and would hate to move on but I don't think I can do this phone anymore. Hire more help! It shouldn't be this hard to get in touch with your office. Very disappointed!!

DO NOT BUY your hearing aids through Silverstein Institute! I paid $6000 for Phonak hearing aids purchased through their concierge department in June. Shortly after purchasing them the woman that services Phonak hearing devices left. Now they claim there is no one there that can adjust them. I have worked with another hearing specialist but she keeps telling me she’s just trying to help but she’s not familiar with Phonak devices. Today I drove 45 minutes for an appointment with her and was told I had no appointment! This place is a joke. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. Stay away! I will now have to resort to taking my hearing aids to an outside vendor and pay out of pocket for adjustments which can range from $60 to $300!

Have tried calling this place multiple times. No one bothers to answer the phone, even after 30 minutes of being on hold. Have left my number with their messaging system to call me back -- NOTHING!! Would give them a 0-star rating if their system allowed.

Tried to reach them for over a month, called 20-30 times, the NEVER answer the phone at ANY LOCATION. Impossible to reach them. It rings and rings and then hangs up. Cannot leave a message. When you do arrive the receptionist is arrogant and rude. I will take a risk and go deaf before I use Silverstein Institute. I waited 5 months for the appt and only kept it because it was such a pain to fill out the forms. Hard to believe in this day and age they do not care enough to even allow you to leave a message...just keep calling. I honestly tried for a month straight daily and NEVER got through to anyone....This business is a joke.

NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. I have tried calling for two months to get important information for my health and billing info., and absolutely nobody answers the phone. I have left numerous messages and no one has returned my call... but yet they continue to see patients?

First off, they do not answer the phone or return calls. They called me to make an appointment based on a referral received from my doctor. I waited 7 weeks to see Dr. Abbott (?). I found him to be uncaring and dismissive. I left with no diagnosis. He told me he didn't have a magic wand to make me better. Waste of time and money.

No one answers phone. I waited 35 minutes and finally gave up. Why has this not been resolved? After being so frustrated, I checked ratings and found the same complaints for over a year. Disappointing.
