I feel I have been discriminated against and unfairly treated when apply to work. They refused to give me a chance to work due to hear say from one previous job I’ve had . I feel that I was given an unfair opportunity to redeem myself and show them what I am most passionate about which is the care of others. For a facility that is suppose to want the best care for residents you would think they would pick people who actually love what they do but instead, they pick people who Have a good reputation based on what the higher ups think of a caregiver or CNA instead of hiring someone for the quality of care they actually give.

Silvercrest is a loving, caring, professional rehabilitation center!

My mother was at Silvercrest for two months. They halls are filled with laughter and conversation from the super sweet staff and residents.

Everyone on staff was a joy to be around, made friends with my mother, took wonderful care of her, and helped me every step of the way!

A very nice place for rehabilitation after a fall or surgery!

My dad was admitted to the facility for a short time. The nursing staff were so caring and they notified me every step of the way. We were blessed to have them care for him. Thank you all for doing what you do. It truly takes special people to do what you do on a daily basis.

You all have The best staff and management around and the best nursing CNA and all the others the kitchen staff (Great Food) janitorial and everyone else are always on the spot with any need for the residents and family’s. I enjoy visiting now with everyone I can while I’m there because they always had time for me when I was there for 6 weeks. The Therapy was the best around too and helped me so tremendously to be able to get back on my feet literally once again. Thanks to all so much !!

My mom and dad both had heart attacks and was placed in another facility across town. They had them in separate rooms and my dad was going down fast being separated from my mom. They called us in and said we are going to lose your dad if we don’t get them in the same room. They had no rooms available for them. I went to Silvercrest and talked with them and they made arrangements and housed my mom and dad in the same room. They treated them like they were THEIR parents and I was totally happy with the care they gave my parents. They stayed together in that same room for two years. My parents thought it was their house and was completely satisfied to be together there. After being in there with my dad for two years, my mother passed away 3 days before Christmas and just after her 80th birthday. My dad remained in that same room for 6 more years until he passed away just a few days after his 92nd birthday. Thru those 6 years when they needed to rearrange patients and make adjustments to house other patients they asked about moving my dad to another room. I was willing for them to try. They told me that my dad would continually wheel himself back to the room he and my mom had shared until she passed. Even though it made it difficult for the staff and administration to keep him in that room they did what no other nursing home would do. They worked it out for him to remain in what he thought was he and my mothers house. He was in that same room for two years with my mother and for 6 more years for a total of 8 years. I never in those 8 years had any disappointments in the the Silvercrest Administration nor any staff member. I was completely happy with the care they all gave my parents. I bragged on their facility to everyone that ever asked me any question about Silvercrest and told everyone what wonderful people, administration and staff work there. They totally went above and beyond anything I could hope or expect from a nursing home facility.Even after both parents passed away while there I have recommended to numbers of friends and families that in my opinion and from experience that Silvercrest was the BEST place in our entire area for their loved ones, family or friends to be placed. The administration and staff are caring loving people who are very special folks to provide the care I witnessed for 8 years. Since that time I have several friends, cousins, sister-in-law and other family friends residing there at this very moment and many of them there because they had called and asked me what I thought and felt about Silvercrest. I hope from what I have shared you know my heart and true feelings about the administration and staff. I personally think they and their facilities are the GREATEST!

Had great day yesterday as staff heard mine and my mom request. But during night medication the nurse wasn’t able to locate mom’s medication for an hour. Then this afternoon I asked about her fentanyl patch and they said wasn’t applied at 18:00 night before which now 24 hours late and mom’s in pain! I spoke with her floor nurse if she could give her now but she said only at 20:00 which is now 24 hours past with mom crying in pain. I said this is wrong but she explains her nursing career which I have no interest but only mom’s pain. Thankfully other floor nurse overheard and come give her pain medicine.

A loved one was transferred to this facility after a very invasive surgery. For two days she was not cared for, medications were not issued, and no one attended to hygiene needs. This facility is a disgrace and should be closed. The doctor never took the time to speak with her, nurse’s took over 30 minutes to respond to after being called. If you’re considering having a family member cared for at this facility, seek care somewhere else. For their sake.
