I went into the hospital in critical condition. Immediately, the staff put my mind at ease. Everyone is pleasant. And throughout my entire time there, everything was explained each step of the way. The staff checked in regularly to see if I needed anything. All-in-all, considering my reason for being in the hospital, it was a pleasant experience.

The nurses were great!! Especially the wonderful woman that did my heart images!! We were sisters of the soul. Accommodations were fine. Food was not great but above all it was the staff that mattered.

Medically I was very well taken care off at this facility. I had an orthopedic emergency and the physician team (ortho synergy group) is excellent.
From ER to OR and the medical floor I was treated respectfully, the staff was very friendly and mostly helpful.
No place is perfect, there is always room for improvement. Overall I received the care I needed in a rural hospital.

First, the doctor that stitched me up was awesome. The hospital...not so much. Recently I cut my hand open and was told I fractured the bone and possibly severed my tendon, only to then be sent home and told to follow up with my primary. In the past I've been misdiagnosed and ended up going to Sutter Roseville, which was much better and they diagnosed me accurately. One time I had two different docs try to hook up an IV 3 times only to blow out a vein in each arm. And then everyone knows about the 3-4 hour wait time. Just saying. Look at the response. Look at the response. A.I. much? If I wasn't bleeding so bad and losing sensation I would have driven to Rideout or Sutter. Update: Unfortunately I lost mobility and feeling. Glad they were able to spend all that money over the last 15 years adding on additions even though 30% of the hospital is empty and looks like its straight out of an apocalyptic film. Anyone notice the waiting room is the size of a regular room? I could keep going but basically it's about profit, not "Dignity" or "Health." And take some pride in your employees.

I believe this is a very good hospital with competent staff, but their emergency care department needs a lot of improvement. I have been to their emergency room on several occasions and I can’t remember ever getting treatment and released in less than 5 hours. They really need to do something about that. Overall the staff in that department is either short in manpower or just not motivated.

Impressed with the cafe bar in the ground floor waiting area. At my clinic I was welcomed in a friendly manner and offered snacks and beverages. Tami was very pleasant while giving me my semi annual Prolia injection.

Very professional and caring staff. I will definitely be switching from Ride Out Hospital to your facility due to the quality of care I received by the Doctor and concern that I was shown by your staff. I wish I would have listened to my doctor years ago when she told me to go to your facility in case of an Emergency since I was not happy with Ride Out. But because of my health conditions I have times when I have to visit ER frequently and I always thought Grass Valley was too far to drive and I wasn’t familiar with the town. Now I realize it’s actually closer than Ride Out and well worth the drive.
Thank you to the entire staff that took part in my care during my visit and especially to the doctor who diagnosed me. You are all super hero’s to do what you do every day and it’s obvious that you all take pride in what you do and go above and beyond your normal expectations.

I needed pulmonary tests, X-rays, and to book an ultrasound. The staff was so kind. I was in the emergency department last week and was done with the utmost of kindness in/& out in 3 hours! The nurses were very kind. Thank you for human kindness.
