My mother in-law has been here for almost 3 months now and the experience is way better. She was in Azure for over a year and it was horrible! The even kept putting off bathing her for months and only wipping her down! The staff of so much nicer, the food is better and they are more attentive.

I have the blessing of having my Father here at Shoreside and I have been very fortunate with the staff.
I have found my Father always clean, the place always has activities to keep the elderly entertained, and the nurses are very attentive to his needs.
The administrator, Brian, also showed great support when I requested a new TV and has always been available to me when I have general questions in reference to daily things.
(Appointments, medicine timing, and general concerns since this is the first time I have had a family member in a nursing home).
Thank you to all the staff and administration for helping me in this transition in order for me to have peace of mind and being able to focus on my work.

My mom was recently admitted at Shoreside for rehab after a massive stroke. So far my family and I are pleased with the care shes receiving. Truly a blessing to have a place for mom to get excellent care. Thank you to the staff.😊😊

Shoreside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Miami, Florida, is a good nursing facility with local community-based roots. It offers both short-term rehabilitative care and long-term care.
Short-Term Rehabilitation: Average (2/3) – 51.4% of residents were able to return home after being discharged. That’s what you’re looking for in a facility. All of the staff that I spoke with were super knowledgeable and friendly. They also have lots of parking.

Shoreside is clean and my friend tells me that the food is good. There are two things I would like to see happen: That there would be a Christian Sunday service that she could attend and that the staff would show more interest when she needs to go to the bathroom. In spite of alerting them several times, they continued to visit with each other and said they would take care of it, but when we finally left, she still had not been taken care of. This was not at the most recent visit, but a previous visit a couple of months ago.
The receptionist at the desk this past Saturday, March 16, 24, was very helpful and kind.

PLEASE do not send your loved ones here! My Great Aunt has been here for a while and my mom has had numerous issues with this facilities and their employees. I live out of town and was trying to get in contact with my Aunt. No one answered the phone. I called back multiple times only for someone to answer and then hang up. I tried the next day and the same thing. Finally someone answers and I tell her what extension I’m trying to reach. She says ok “dear” and proceeds to put me on hold. After 5 minutes I gave up. Incompetence is a huge understatement
