We are from out of town and this is the first time we tried this place. Let me say it was amazing food. You know it's probably a good place when it's 11:00 in the morning on a Tuesday and it's packed inside. It's a bakery/ restaurant/deli. Check out the pics included. They show some of the most delicious desserts and cutting fresh meat for the deli sandwiches. Our server, Lori, was amazing and super friendly. We got the sticky bun and it was huge and tasted so delicious. If you haven't been there, add it as a must do if you're in town. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Beef n Lattkes is the way to go! Also, the coconut cream pie is delicious! Neither do I have a picture of as they were eaten so quickly! The pickles and sauerkraut are a delightful addition! Shermans is an institution in the Desert! You must try at least once…or twice! 😆.

Stopped here because I was in the area and it had great reviews.

I will probably come her for lunch later this week and try out their deli offerings.

I ordered the con-beef hash. Man was it good. The corned beef was crumbled (vs shredded) and the flavor of the meat, eggs and potatoes was delectable.

They have a bakery which looked to provide cakes, pastries, bagels and all sort of other treats.

Classic New York-style deli with a Grandpa vibe dining room that delivers exactly what you’d hope for.

Had the corned beef hash with eggs over easy, home fries, and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The hash was rich and well-seasoned without being greasy, eggs were perfect, and the potatoes had a nice crisp. Solid breakfast all around. The bagel was fresh, not just tossed on the plate as an afterthought.

Definitely a reliable stop when you’re craving a proper deli breakfast.

Great place for baked goods and breakfast. Too many choices really. The breakfast with house made corned beef hash and eggs was great. I took home a cranberry muffin and a 🍓 short 🍰. The muffin was too sweet for me, but the cake was just right. Prices are not low, but worth it.

Sherman’s Deli & Bakery in Palm Desert is much more than just a deli or a bakery. This is a full scale sit-down “New York Style Family Restaurant”; far more than I expected before arriving. In addition to about 40 custom sandwiches to choose from, they have breakfast all day, dinner plates, chef’s specials, 10 listed salads, beer and wine, and more. Seating is cozy and comfortable, and service was friendly and prompt. Everything we had at our table was excellent. Very much recommended.

If you are feeling hungry, get the Beef n Latke! You get a choice of corned beef, pastrami, turkey, or brisket!! Super Yummers!!!

A very high quality New York / Jewish style deli. The portions are very large. We've had the corned beef, and the potato pancakes and can recommend them.

They have a large bakery section too. We tried the rugelach, and they were very average. I wouldn't bother with them again.

It's not a huge place so expect to wait for a table, especially on the weekends. Parking can also be a bit of a challenge.
