This was my first time visiting and Daynette is absolutely amazing! I decided to treat myself with some self care for Valentine’s Day and received so much more. I love that she approaches her services by tapping into your mind and body. She is so gifted with her hands, passionate about helping people, and giving them a better quality of life. I am someone that carries a lot of stress and tension in my neck and shoulders and she knows how to work on trigger points and smooth out knots and tense areas. I left my session feeling like I just got massage therapy....not just a massage. The owner is very professional and has a way of customizing each visit to fit your needs. From her outgoing personality to her gifted hands if you have not experienced Shankofa Wellness Center. You have not experienced a massage. I highly recommend.

Daynette is one in a million!! She is so gifted with her hands, passionate about helping people, and giving them a better quality of life. I am someone that carries a lot of stress and tension in my neck and shoulders. I also do strength training about 5 times a week, so I tend to stay pretty tight all over. She knows how to work on trigger points and smooth out knots and tense areas. I ALWAYS leave my session feeling like I just got massage therapy....not just a massage, although she can do just a massage if that is what you want. I require deep tissue/neuromuscular therapy and she does a WONDERFUL job!!! It is so difficult, and expensive, to find a good massage therapist, so I am very thankful to have found such a talented, caring, and friendly one right here in Montgomery!!!!
