This practice has a ridiculously absurd and awful "policy" that completely dismisses step parents as useless and invalid. I am a parent to several children who's "real father" isn't in their life and hasn't been for a very long time. My wife works full time and I'm retired, which leaves me to take my children to these appointments. I say my children because they are. Regardless of DNA, those kids are mine and I'm their father. This business refuses to acknowledge me as a parent, waves a hand, figuratively, at me and says they need to talk to the child's "real parent" on the phone in order to change any medications. So they interrupt my wife at her workplace to ask her questions while I'm sitting 4 feet away from them, and completely qualified to answer. I spend more time with those kids than my wife, their mother, does. I've asked them numerous times what would happen if I was a widower and those children no longer had a mother. How would we accomplish this medication change then? I get no answer. Now they've changed their policy again and the "real parent" needs to be there in person. So now I'm completely invalidated. Whoever runs this place hates step parents. As a result, my wife and 3 of our children will be taking our business elsewhere. I haven't felt this disrespected in a long time. No other doctors practice has ever done this to me and I've been taking these kids to various appointments for 11 years.

Update: they enjoy caring for my family so much they kicked them out of the practice suddenly and without warning or a plan of care/referral elsewhere; including my adult daughter who has nothing to do with this. Nice job serenity, we were already going elsewhere anyway. You can't fire me, I quit.

This staff from the receptionist to the nurse practitioners and to the doctor are all amazing. Alexa is so sweet and always greets me with the brightest hello, amber has always been so helpful. Its so nice to come somewhere for help and actually feel like im being helped. I would 10000% recommend this office to anyone who is seeking help. Its rare to find an office where the front staff also help make the experience THAT MUCH better

I've been with Serenity Health Center for almost a year now. When Molly left unexpectedly, poor Barbara had to listen to my story again which was very difficult for me to relive. This visit, already nervous to see Barabara for only the 2nd time, I was really disappointed when Chelsea introduced herself. Chelsea is fantastic and if she stays I am excited, but if she leaves how will I ever get the proper continuous mental health care that I need? Also, the poor front desk lady has nothing but problems with the owner. She is in there pleading with them for a full check having to over explain herself when she shouldn't have to micromanage to get her paycheck. Just doesn't look good if you don't treat the front desk staff right.

I have been coming here for about 6 weeks now and have never had a bad experience. From the provider to the staff, I have always been treated with kindness and understanding. I feel safe here and not pressured to do anything I don't want to. I am having Deep TMS treatment and I do feel there has been positive changes in me. My family and friends have noticed more than I have. They also really work with your schedule & it's great especially having a kid.
