My name is Olivia, I had a severely deviated septum. I’ve had a lot of blunt force trauma to my nose, I couldn’t smell and I didn’t have any airflow through my nose and I haven’t for almost 2 decades, almost my whole life. I wouldn’t have done anything about it if Dr. McWilliams didn’t inform me about his experience with this stuff and that it could change my life for the better.
When it comes to surgery I’m a very anxious person but I didn’t feel anything negative and I trusted him. He also made me feel comfortable, which is rare for me. I’m very grateful I did trust him because I had my surgery done in June 2024 and currently it’s October 2024 and there is so much positive change in my life that I never expected.

The surgery went well it didn’t take too long and I’m much better now. I can actually breathe and eat with my mouth closed. I smelled peanut butter and Chinese food for the first time which was great but nothing could have prepared me for finally getting to smell my son! Everyone talks about that new baby smell, I never got to experience that, as my son is 4 years old now but I can actually smell him, I can also smell my husband too and I’m truly grateful for what Dr. McWilliams did. If I’m blessed with another child he made it possible for me to get to experience that new baby smell with the next one!

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had from beginning to end. The first appointment, no wait time, I was called back before I could sit in the waiting room. The doctor was on time and was thorough in his examination and reviewing possible remedies for my condition. After many questions answered, we decided the best option was an outpatient surgical procedure which was scheduled in a timely manner. His staff member, Andre, then explained to me the pre-op and post-op procedures very thoroughly. All of the staff were helpful and courteous. The day of surgery everything lined up at the hospital, absolutely no waiting, I was greeted, checked in and immediately taken into a prep room, the doctor came in and went over what to expect, within a short period of time I went to surgery and don't remember a thing. Today was my first post-op appointment, no waiting, doctor was very gentle in removing stitch and stents, constantly checking to make sure I was doing OK, and explaining every step of the process. Dr. McWilliams gets to the point and gets the job done in a caring and kind manner. I would highly recommend him and his practice to anyone who has breathing issues.
