If I could give NEGATIVE stars for DR. IVETTE RAMOS ORTEGA, I would. This is a doctor that does NOT listen to you EVER. She prescribes medications and dosages based on her comfort level, not what you have been previously receiving over years and years from Specialists in their field (even with those past medical records as reference). Her reasoning is: "I do not feel comfortable with that." Or she changes dosages in the middle of refill cycles because again, she "does not feel comfortable with that." You receive calls from other specialists to set up appointments based on her referral that she did not discuss with her. But she lets you know or gives "comfort level" responses within the Portal, which is after the fact. The only way you know that those dosages have changed is when you pick them up at the pharmacy or you receive them via mail order (which is too late). If you are super clear within an office visit that you want to use Mail Order for recurring prescriptions, she still does NOT follow your request. If you remind her and her staff of that, they still do NOT correct their error. The cost savings using mail order is significant and it is like she DOESN'T CARE. But if you go into the office, she is just so much "more understanding," and then changes her mind when sending in prescriptions to the pharmacy. If you question her in the Portal and express concerns that you are not comfortable with her and her decisions that she makes outside of the office, she sends a FedEx overnight letter firing you as a patient (which is after you have already established with another physician). Such an inconsiderate, unprofessional, inexperienced physician whom decides patient care without considering the patient and their past experiences. I CANNOT recommend her at all, which is sad because I want to raise up female practitioners.

Dr. Greaves who worked there is a great Doctor, she intelligently listens to patients and has always made my family very satisfied. She is leaving Scotts Valley Medical Clinic....gee, I wonder why (actually it's easy to see why). Scotts Valley Medical Clinic has horrible wait times, and a few snobby receptionists. This Clinic doesn't come near to keeping to their appointment schedule, yet you are expected to. They fake being on time by putting you in a small room to wait, and wait, and wait, staring alone at a wall. Dr. Greaves is leaving, and so is my family, the 2 other doctors there were not nearly good as Dr. Greaves in my family's experience. Probably you would be happier with a better clinic, now we are.....but we will miss Dr. Maria Greaves, hard to find a good one like her, actually she's excellent, but that clinic sure is NOT.

I'm going from 4 stars to 1 star.
Really disappointing that since PAMF/Sutter bought this clinic the pricing has gone way up and the interactions when needing help on the phone have become so impersonal. Really bummed because I liked my doc a lot, but we're pulling our entire family from this practice as a result of PAMF/Sutter buying them.

First off this place smells like an old mustly, moldy closet. I saw PA Diana Hull, in years past I suffered from chronic bronchitis which is why I am trying to fight it off at first signs. I know my body and the early signs of a bad case, but she was convinced it was something else. I did a virus test which was negative but since I didn't have phenomena she didn't want to prescribe me antibiotics. She suggested I nourishin my body from inside (which is what I do anyway) and not go out and party ( since I seem to be in such a party mood) When I asked how long I would be contagious for she remarked "until I wasn't anymore". REALLY I left with no diagnosis, no medication or even knowing how long i shoud stay home from work. Thanks for the help, I won't be returning to this clinic, and will be seeing an ACTUAL DR. in the future.
