Dr Hanna is best doctor I have had the pleasure of having as my primary care physician. She is very knowledgeable, professional and caring. She has assisted me in dealing successfully with multiple health challenges, resulting in much improved health and quality of life. She takes care of my entire family, who have enjoyed similar experiences. I would highly recommend Dr Hanna.

Out of over 4 and a half decades of having a general internist/family doctor, Dr. Nadia Hanna is, without question, the best I’ve ever had, period. Any time I’ve ever walked into a dentist office, a hair salon, or any place that has something to do with my body, I have always felt very vulnerable & yet I’ll never forget the first time I met Dr Hanna in her office. She was so gentle, with such a warm, bedside manner, I completely let my guard down. That said, make no mistake: although instantly putting one at ease and making one relaxed, she is very professional, vigilant and thorough.
If you exhibit symptoms of one thing, she automatically doublechecks those symptoms with all possibilities, always checking out the big picture to rule out danger early on & to be precise in treatment. In over 40 years, she had never once misdiagnosed me. Also in 4 plus decades she has never once prescribed me any medication that either disagreed with me or did not troubleshoot the problem.
Yes, she looks very radiantly young (and probably is?) but don’t let that fool you- on occasion, out of state, I have had to take my parents to various doctors and under my breath uncharitably grumbled “if Dr Hanna were here, this whole rigmarole would be less convoluted, more precise and accurate…”
As someone who works from home, I basically can live anywhere, except during family emergencies, but I choose to live in Florida, not because I’m particularly fond of the state, but because I am on monthly meds and this is where Dr Hanna resides. I know this sounds dramatic, but if she ever relocated her practice, I probably would relocate too, lol. Yikes, that sounds kind of creepy! Well, I was just trying to get the point across that in my book she has a 100% track record and I trust this doctor with my life.
When I have been at my wit’s end with sloppy pharmacies particularly when understandably it’s been a madhouse line during the worst days of the pandemic, never losing her cool, Dr Hanna has peacefully ironed out time-sensitive prescriptions I depend on monthly and been very reassuring.
Though professionally she never speaks of her personal life, she exhibits great empathy if she has encountered a similar health hiccup so you trust that what most helped her (for example, a sprained tailbone) will benefit you as well and thus empathy renders confidence.
Not once has she ever cancelled on me in all these years or missed our appointment. Her staff also are very amicable and accommodating, cheerful answering the phone, and if I have made a scheduling mistake, instead of dreading calling them, I know they will simply be matter of fact and congenial and helpful with getting back on course never chastising or rude.
Also Dr Hanna is very sacrificial. Although Sarasota often has both alarming weather warnings and fallout, I remember the worst hurricane in 20 years when Sarasota was supposed to evacuate as soon as possible and yet I needed a controlled Rx note faxed, everyone was driving out of town in insane weather, and I was the last appointment as Dr Hanna had stayed at work, being one if the last to leave Sarasota for desperate patients like me.
A bonus to her medical expertise is it is abundantly clear that she is not only nonjudgmental about her patients who come from all walks of life (it is clear this is not political correctness but just her sincere nature,) but she always follows up with next talk asking specifically and with genuine e concern if health issue has been resolved, not ticking off a box, but because she really cares. Before any single word is ever uttered, she begins with a heartfelt, “How are you?”
If you are shopping around for doctors and even a specialist, your search is over as Dr. Hanna is, to be quite literal, a specialist in everything. My only selfish regret is that someday, like everyone in life, she might retire. But in the meanwhile, gift yourself by choosing her. Your mind will be at ease- and your body & soul will thank you for it!

Dr Hannah has been a wonderful primary care physician for me. She has resolved a thyroid issue that two other physicians could not resolve . She sent me to a great cardiologist when I had to find a new one and after a car accident she got surgery clearances processed in record time so I could get on the road to recovery. Her kindness , her integrity and her ability to diagnosis and treat are a blessing. And for the few whose reviews complain about billing or appointment scheduling take them with a grain of salt. Insurance company rules and regulations are egregious but Dr Hannah's staff works hard to make getting care a positive experience.

Now dr Hanna is trying to block my mother from getting her much needed physical and speech therapy because I and the hospital have submitted complaints to the state of Florida. Unfortunately for dr hanna we already got a new pcp who knows how to write referrals.

Dr Hanna and her office continue to slander and lie about me without any proof. Ask yourself why any office would call her about me? I have no affiliation to her other than her terrible care for my mother. It's obvious lies. Loom at how condescending their responses to their MANY 1 star reviews. Terrible incompetent people. And now that I make reports to the state her office is trying to take revenge.

Notice they don't deny trying to block my mother from her much needed physical and speech therapy in their reply. They are willing to hurt patients to enact revenge if you dare file a complaint against them

Dr Hanna continues to be a problem even after we left her care. They claim they sent several referrals, but that is because they couldn't send them correctly. All they care about is billing medicare, which they are very good at. This office needs to be investigated. My neighbor was complaining about her terrible doctor just the other day, and guess who it was? Dr. Hanna!

Dr Hanna and her office are completely incompetent. It took well over a month to get a simple referral for speech therapy after my mother had a stroke because they simply couldn't figure out how to do it. After speaking with the office manager at SMH Rehab pavilion is was brought to my attention that her staff was revising previously signed documents and re sending them, which is highly illegal.

Whats worse than there incompetence is their arrogance. Dr. Hanna will consistently call you hours before your scheduled Telehealth appointments and then act like you were inconveniencing her by not expecting the call before the scheduled time. For being so bad at their jobs they somehow have an elitist attitude. When asked to speak with a manger i was told no. When i persisted and got a manger on the phone he cut my off on my first sentence and interrupted me thru out the entire conversation then accused me of getting mad. I've never dealt with more incompetence in my life. i am in the process of filing complaints and am getting records released of them altering documents. legal action may be taken.

Its obvious the good reviews here are paid for or made by people before they really got to know Dr. Hanna. Look at all the review sites. Half of her reviews on every site are 1 star. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here. Her yelp review is 2.2 stars. Get ready for gaslighting and lies from the office as a reply as well. it is clear the office manager spends most of his time replying to bad reviews.

Edit: as you can see the office manager has replied with lies about me. No other offices have complained about me. Why would any office call you to complain about me anyway? If so where is the proof? Obvious lies and slander, which might be added the malpractice lawsuit i am looking into. i do however have proof of them fabricating documents. Ann Hayworth (the manager of Sarasota Memorial Rehab Pavilion) and I are both submitting claims of fraud against this office WITH PROOF! Dont believe the lies this office writes in their reviews! Look at how many 1 stars they have across all review sites!

as you can see in the reply they admit to incorrectly sending a referral 6 times!! it took over 6 times for them to get a simple referral right! Ann and SMH had to send over a fill in the blank form because their office was so incompetent it cant figure out referrals. can you imagine waiting 2 months for a simple referral while you suffer? Dr Nadia doesnt care!

Update: even after leaving Dr Hanna's care she continues to be a problem. Her office is run by her husband who is a condescending inconsiderate person. They are a team that works against you, not for you. They are incompetent at communicating with SMH or Tampa General. They don't know how to do anything other than charge medicare. Please, if you are looking for care for your loved ones go somewhere else, preferably in first physicians group. I doubt they would let Dr. Hanna in.

Dr Hanna always listens to me. Patients must be their own advocate. If you have concerns ….ask ! Thank you Dr for your help. I have never had a problem with her staff. Always courteous.

I have been bringing my 95 year old mom to Dr Nadia for almost a year (my husband also goes to her). We have received professional/compassionate, kind and competent care from Dr Nadia and her staff. Yes, there have been a few times we were kept waiting but unfortunately that happens whether you go to a doctor, dentist or car repair shop. Our doctors are overwhelmed with paperwork, insurance crap, legal b.s. and let's face it, needy patients. Our mental health system is completely broken and people are desperate for help. We have so much information now available to us, right at our fingertips. You know yourself better than any doctor, be your own advocate! Sometimes the miracle is right in front of you..I could have missed this. My mom is slowly losing her hearing and eyesight. Getting old is not for Sissy's! My mom was in tears. Dr Nadia replied "but...you have, at 95, the greatest gift...your mind! We will never forget that! Thank you Dr Nadia and staff.

Yikes. Please be very careful about sending loved ones to this practice.

My sister (NP) and brother (Gastro MD) and I were shocked to learn this office does not send out referrals for even basic follow up screenings (mammogram, GI/Colonoscopy, Cardiology). I'm now seeing it in past reviews that this is not the first occurrence.

Our mother received a fairly serious diagnosis, and we simply requested referrals for cancer screenings since she has never done one before. The receptionist who suggested she doesn't need these should be reprimanded for attempting to provide medical guidance with no knowledge (or common sense) of the situation.

The Practice Manager, who didn't have time to deal with us, simply told us to "call our insurance". They clearly are just there for the paycheck and nothing more.

UPDATE: When a patient isn't educated by her Healthcare professional on these procedures that can screen for deeper issues, of course they will decline. Interesting how her children simply informed her of what these screenings were, and she was more than willing to proceed, even as your receptionist told my medically educated siblings it was unnecessary. Excuses don't lead to improvements, please simply do better for your future patients. Thank you.
