Had a great experience. Dr Depena and The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, laser treatment exceeded my expectations, and I was really impressed with the quality and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Dr Depena to anyone looking for laser or botox treatment.

Dr. Peña was super helpful and informative. I really appreciate that he was honest and let me know what I was getting into so I could make the right decision. It’s not an exact science because all tattoos are different and he said it could take quite a few visits, possibly 10 or 12. One tattoo was completely gone after 3 visits and the other about 75% gone. I highly recommend his services if you’re wanting to get rid of any tattoos and Dr. Peña is a master of his craft!!!

I've been really pleased with my treatments at SC Med Spa. The online booking process is really easy. Dr dePena offers a wide range of services and seems to have the most up-to-dat technology in the Santa Cruz area. He always takes time to explain all the details -- if something will hurt a bit, recovery time, side effects. I've never felt rushed by him. Results have been great. No surprises, no disappointments. Street parking is easy. Prices are reasonable, especially relative to more expensive spas in San Jose or San Francisco. Dr dePena clearly loves his work and is super enthusiastic about getting patients to their goals.

At Santa Cruz Med Spa, I was actually treated by the doctor! This afforded me the great opportunity to speak with Dr. de Pena at great length about all of the information and research behind the products and procedures. He also uses a soft-tip cannula instead of needles for the fillers so I didn't need aditional injections for anesthesia. I usually bruise a little bit at the injection site but because of the cannula, there was NO bruising at all! I really appreciate the time he takes to discuss what he is doing and I never feel rushed or that I'm asking too many questions. I highly recommend Santa Cruz Med Spa!!!"

Dr. Tye de pena wanted to charge 1500 dollars per 2 inch area of treatment using a simple laser tool. Needless to say I was astonished. It was horrible and I will never go back.
