I had an appointment last week with the primary for my annual and I went to the wrong location because it did not occur to anyone in the office to call me and advise me they had moved. When I get there I voice my concern and Maria Balcom the office manager gives me a phone number to supposedly bypass the call center which supposedly was her number yeah sure. I’ll explain below. I saw the doctor who was very attentive however one of my prescriptions was called in wrong. I immediately called Maria at the number she sent me and after several unanswered messages she finally responds to tell me she would tell doctor and get back to me. I have since called and texted her and no response. This place is horrible if you need to get in touch with someone good luck although the doctor is very nice if you can’t get in touch with the office then it doesn’t really matter how good they are if their support staff isn’t. You should be able to speak to someone and let them know that there is an issue. One week later and I am still waiting on them to fix the prescription and call it in. Horrible support staff. Find an office where you can actually speak to a staff member this is clearly not that type of office. Volume patients definitely so they can make their money definitely not quality service.

I am not quite sure Sanitas Medical Center even deserves 1 star. I had scheduled an appointment for today 3/21at 12:05pm, weeks ago… ( the scheduling app gave me that time slot that actually worked for me ), no call confirmation from the center, but yesterday 1:56pm a day prior to appointment I get a call from the medical center telling me that my appointment will be cancelled because that time slot falls within lunch time…I was given options to choose a time and I chose it. The lunch time slots should be blocked from scheduling. By the way, I could barely understand what the nurse was saying at some point. I asked to speak to someone that speaks English but guess what…that “nurse” hung up on my face. I called back, of course I get forwarded to a call center and the rep Leidy was not very helpful nor her supervisor not sure if it’s a he or a she because at some point she would say he then other times would refer to a supervisor named Maria. The medical messed up but wouldn’t own it into scheduling with my provider, but offered a different provider at a different location?!?
Anyway way to go Sanitas Medical Center, the worst of them all!

The staff is very friendly and kind. Dr. Paul always takes time to answer all our questions and doesn't rush his patients. His assistants and lab assistants are all very empathetic - I have needle phobia, and I've never come across such a considerate staff. They're also very quick, there's no waiting time when you have your appointments, which is is a big win for us who hate waiting! The clinic is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Gives a calm vibe!

My mom will have a surgery soon and she needs a clearance from her PCP. Maite Guerra from the office called me and I just wanted to let know that her performance is exceptional. Sanitas should take care of that employee because you don't find many like her. Very attentive and concerned about the patients.

I want to thank the incredible team at Sanitas Palmetto Bay for their exceptional care of my grandmother. Dr. Paul Dillaway is thorough and compassionate, Nurse Shania Camara is kind and professional, and Care Coordinator Leonardo Haza-Alfonso provides clear and helpful support. Office Manager María Isabel Balcom ensures a smooth and welcoming experience. This team goes above and beyond, and we are truly grateful. Highly recommend!

My daughter came into the office to see if she can be seen because she was sick, she was turned away because they didn’t have any appointments available for that day. The next appointment was 2 weeks after. Now we went back because she had concerning lab results and was turned away again, because you need an appointment for that, I also explained to the front desk lady how concerned I was about the results and just wanted to see what I have to do next for my daughter. I understand you need an appointment which was why I had created one for two days after this but there are times where the results don’t come out the way you want it to and are extremely worried that you need to speak to the doctor as soon as possible. The receptionists had no sympathy for the situation and showed me that they truly don’t care about the doctors patients. The doctor is a great doctor but it’s very disappointing to know that you must be healthy and have an appointment scheduled months before you want to be seen. I was even willing to wait until their last appointment had left because that’s how dire these results were, and I was still turned away. The customer service needs to be improved.

Great first visit with Dr.Pedreira. Kind and friendly staff and got to meet the center supervisor Maria who stopped by in the lobby to ask me about my visit. WOW 🤩 I have never experienced such great concern and care from an entire Medical center. Glad I switched from my previos primary physician. Even better news that they are plans to move to a bigger center with better parking! Thank you Sanitas at Palmetto Bay

My appointment was at 10:45am but I got there at 10:50am due to no parking. Then I sat in the waiting room for half hour. Then I sat in another room inside the patient rooms for another half hour. Then I was seen by another doctor who was not my original provider doctor and it’s like she doesn’t know what the heck she was reading. My first provider knows all my lab work and he’s more understanding. So it’s whatever I don’t really care anymore. Instead of this place helping you to feel better, they just make everything much more horrible. She claims that I still have thyroid problems but I don’t. That’s a false misdiagnosis problem right there. I don’t have thyroid problems I have swollen lymph nodes which is two different things but it’s not like she cares right? So then at the front desk I was waiting for my referral for blood work and it’s like I don’t have to give them anymore blood tbh. They already taken out 8 tubes of blood and then another 2 set of blood and even the lady at quest says that my veins haven’t been healed right due to all the blood being taken out of. Then the supervisor wants to give me an attitude saying “next time you make an appointment make sure it’s with the right provider” and she gave me such an attitude like excuse you lady that’s your job to make the appointment and schedule me with the right doctor, that’s not my fault. So now it’s like they want more blood work but it’s my body and I have the right to say no. So no more blood work from this place ever again. I have missed enough classes for stupid things like this.
