This place is a money scam and should be shut down! They get a -000FFF. They don’t care and after my ordeal refuse to write off my urgent care bill that was unnecessary if they had just sent me to ER when we called. From start to finish it’s been a terrible experience. There is not enough room to go over all that happened but I’ll try. The care I received was not only inadequate but also exacerbated my condition, leading to unnecessary suffering and additional medical expenses. They should be paying me for unnecessary extended pain and suffering. Called the number they didn’t care and were heartless. They just care about money not people.
Summary of Issues:
1. Initial Call and Mismanagement:
• Despite calling ahead, I was not directed to the ER, which was clearly necessary given my condition.
2. Lack of Proper Care:
• Your facility was out of supplies and unable to provide the necessary treatment. The splint applied to my wrist was inadequate, causing further complications.
3. Mismanagement of Pain and Medication:
• I was left in severe pain for over an additional hour without any reason. The small prescription provided was insufficient and caused issues at the ER, where they were unable to prescribe additional medication due to their prescription.
4. Inappropriate Conduct:
• I was insulted by being asked if I was on drugs. Additionally, the staff failed to recognize and address my low blood pressure, which the ER doctor identified immediately. Unless they think Orange juice is the solution instead of sending me to ER where they actually helped me get my blood pressure to normal and have me meds to help the pain. They didn’t give me any meds for pain during X-rays which was excruciating which they could’ve sent me to ER got pain meds then took X-rays. But no, they like seeing patients suffer unnecessarily.
5. Financial and Emotional Impact:
• I am being charged for inadequate and improper care, which has caused significant emotional distress and financial burden.
Given these points, it is clear that the care provided was not only substandard but also harmful. They don’t even care which tells me this place is a scam just bringing patients in to bill them and tell them sorry I can’t help you afterall go to the ER after we take your money. This is so ridiculous. I’ve never had such a bad experience. When I’ve gone to other urgent cares and they couldn’t help they sent me straight to the ER without wasting my time and money. That shows me this place doesn’t care about the patients. This behavior is not ok and it seems others have similar experiences with this terrible place they call an urgent care. Unacceptable!

They make it a long process for a simple medication pick-up. I had eye drops to pick up and I was sent to 2 different pharmacies which neither of them had the eye drops. I then called back for an alternative medication and I was told that I’ll get a call back right away once they sent the order. The order was never sent and I didn’t get a call back. I Wasted over 3 hours just to end up with no help.

Horrible experience yesterday with my mother in law. She was brushed off and they rushed her out and did not address her issues. We decided to go to the ER right after to find out she was anemic with internal bleeding. No testing was done at the walk in. Very rude.

Myself, along with about 10 other people, showed up right at 8 am on a Saturday. I was roomed within minutes and the doctor was in about 5 minutes after that. The nurse, Amanda, was kind and attentive. The doctor, Dr “Brad” was excellent as well! He was very kind, thorough, and explained everything to me. A very positive experience at the walk in on University today! Funny enough, I waited longer for my medications from the pharmacy than I did for my whole visit at the clinic!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is only there for the money. Doctors act like you don’t know anything about your own body. I had multiple symptoms, that could be visually inspected, doctor had no interest. Spent 2 minutes with me, and sent me on my way. I asked to speak to doctor again, and they sent me one of her nurses, as a middleman. Nurse went to relay message to doctor and was back in less than 30 seconds. Doctor was literally around the corner doing nothing. Couldn’t be bothered to see me again. I was the only one in the waiting room. It was dead in that lobby, not busy at all.

I need antibiotics, and these doctors are treating me like some sort of opiate junkie.

If I had ANY other option I would go, but this place is a cash grab and monopoly in the area.

Went in last month twice and they didn’t do anything for me. All he said was take cough syrup with DM which I was already taking. I will never use that walk.in clinic again. I ended up with a back case if bronchitis and cough that I couldn’t get rid of. So I went to the one on Broadway and they finally gave me what I needed to take care of it. Rhe doctors at the University urgent care don’t take the time to listen to you. All you are to them is a $.

went to urgent care today since i coughed up blood, and have been coughing up dark brown mucus. provider in the office told me i need to "just try cough medicine" (i have) and then ran 0 tests, put in that she talked to me about having bronchitis and bacterial sinusitis. she didn't do either of those things.
didn't check my medical history, didn't acknowledge that i had been struggling to breathe severely, or that i couldn't even walk to the exam room properly without needing a break to breathe.

i waited 4 hours for her to tell me that i'm essentially a wuss and need to try cough medicine... while the people in the waiting room were telling me i needed to go straight to the ER i sounded so bad. obviously i stayed because i thought i would get a solution, but i didnt. i’ve been without sleep for three days and the best she could do was tell me to take cough medicine and prescribe me an antibiotic that i have no idea if i need or not? guess ill wait until APRIL for my primary to figure out my chest infection, thanks sanford

Do not go to this clinic. I am in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy , and I went in yesterday due to shortness of breath, feeling super dehydrated (not able to keep down water for 2-3 weeks) , severe lethargy. The provider that saw me did not listen at all … checked my cap refill and said that’s fine so you’re not dehydrated even after I told him I hadn’t urinated in 12 hours . Told me we will draw labs but I don’t need to wait for them because everything is fine . So, I left and results came back with my kidney function labs being off . Tried to call them and message them . It is now the next day, so about 20 hours since I went in and no response whatsoever. I was also concerned maybe I am deficient in something; the doctor responded rudely, "what are we going to do if it is a deficiency anyways? Just supplement it."

I get it, I am a health care worker.... we are all burned out. But do your job.

I guess we will just see how serious things have to get before they care
