All I can say is my visit was amazing. It is a cozy, well run place. The people were warm , friendly and professional.
Bernadette, the nurse practitioner attended me. She was so kind and a great listener. She sat across from me, it was almost like a family member .
Bernadette is very experienced and pin pointed the problem. She also good listener .
Yes, I was thrilled to find this place … Will definitely go back and highly recommend it.
This type of caring attitude is missing from a lot of medical facilities, but not from this one .
I can’t wait to go back !!! lol 😂

I really like this clinic. Every time I go, the wait is short, the staff is friendly & caring & I always feel better after. I always feel like they genuinely care and want you to get well. The staff is helpful & kind. I have been going here for about 2 years whenever I need an Urgent Care. This last time I had NP Bernadette, who is exceptionally caring and helpful. Thank you Bernadette for your quality of care. I needed a work note and called back next day for that, and staff emailed it to me right away. I definitely recommend this place. Very long waiting time to see the practitioner. My wait was 2.5 hours. I like the practitioner. She handled my case very well and seemed to order correct medications for me. I would like to see her again if she were available and if I visit that urgent care.

The staff if considerate of their client's time so they try to make the checkin go quickly.
My Dr. was professional but very personable.
She explained my illness and how the medication that she was going to prescribe was going to help me in detail.
She let me know that I could call back with any questions and that somebody would get a hold of her.
My prescription was called in immediately and I picked it up 15 minutes of leaving the urgent care.
The facility is clean & free parking can be found close.

I’ve visited both the Laguna Hills and Irvine locations of Sand Canyon Urgent Care for a workers’ comp-related issue, and while the staff are generally polite, the overall experience has been disappointing. There’s a consistent lack of follow-up, minimal patient engagement, and a dismissive tone—especially when questions fall outside their script. I keep records and take people at their word, so when I’m told someone will call me back and that doesn’t happen, I follow up. Yet each time, I’m forced to re-explain my situation, and they often act surprised or irritated that I’ve called at all. It feels like gaslighting: they promise to do something, don’t follow through, then make me out to be the problem for calling. The care model seems driven by volume over empathy, with very little hands-on evaluation or genuine concern. I’ve also tried to reach Dr. Steve Lin, the medical director and owner of both clinics, but there’s no reliable way to contact him; even a voicemail he left me didn’t include a callback number or subsequent follow-up. Lastly, I’m attaching a screenshot from their website where they list the care they claim to provide—it’s glaringly different from the care I actually received. I would strongly encourage others to consider alternative providers if they value clear communication and patient-centered care.

From the front office to the doctor it was a pleasurable experience as one can be in Urgent care. Quick, courteous and efficient. If you are sick they will take good care of you.

My 1st time visit here with bacterial infection. Self check in and completed paperwork all on my phone which was very convenient. The nurse practitioner who examined me was caring, courteous, knowledgeable and respectful. I was very pleased and will refer others to them.

I’m happy to get the request for a review for Barbara Kent. Her report or I should say a review is as follows: She would not recommend anybody coming to this urgent care. It was the worst service we ever had to get wax removed from an ear. We were there for over two hours. People were nice, but it was the worst service and I wouldn’t even take my dog there.!!!!!!
