I never ever write reviews but if I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. First of all, I knew I should’ve left as soon as I saw “gender” and “current gender” on the initial paperwork, but I digress. I took my 6 month old because he had a bump on his head and wanted to get it checked out asap since we don’t have a local pediatrician here since we just moved from out of state. We got taken in, got his vitals checked and while he was getting checked, the doctor comes in and feels the bump on his head and instantly says “it’s a benign tumor but let me get another colleague to check it out”. Me being a first time mom, obviously I’m freaking out. Another doctor comes in and says “It feels like a mass of some sort. Also just so you know he can start getting seizures”. Mind you, this is without even asking me ANY sort of questions about his previous health history or anything of that nature. The first doctor comes in again and says “yeah I’d take him to Rady’s, they’re the professionals. Oh by the way, make sure you take some food because you’ll be there a good 6-8 hours” and then walks out of the room. Like what the actual hell. Absolutely USELESS.

You might get better care if you're a man. I came in because I noticed a mass on my stomach. I informed the physician I am on birth control and first noticed the mass a year ago. The only medical decision was yo give me a pregnancy test and send me on my way. Who knew medical providers could check your physician health with just their eyes. No blood work no imagine just sexist vibes bc pregnancy is the only thing women can be dealing with ♡

Horrible! Never coming back again, I’ve came twice this year and both times the doctors there are USELESS. Will not prescribe anything, I came in for some rash/spider bites and they said “I’m not sure, looks like a spider bite” the doctor didn’t even know himself , he didn’t prescribe me anything and decided to tell me to treat it as “scabies “ although the bumps on my legs did NOT look like scabies at all. They are BAAD. This place is actually horrible and either the doctors don’t know what they are doing or they are just plain lazy

0/5 Stars if I could. The wait is expected but they do nothing to inform you while you wait, get left in rooms for soooooo long at a time. Been yelled at by staff here a couple of visits ago. Refused to come back entirely. Today 1:30 PM: Asked receptionist for assistance with a question (did not get checked in), waited 20 minutes for an RN to appear, just to ask a separate receptionist the same question (who stated I should have been checked in while 10+ people walked in after me) and get an IMMEDIATE response that I cannot be helped or treated here for my issue. Entire staff lacks proper teamwork and communication. Seek assistance elsewhere…

You would think San Ysidro Health would have a better system in place to see patients in urgent care, specifically after covid. At urgent care and was told to expect a 3-4 hour wait. Yes, this might be normal, but why expose people to get sick when they have the capability to send people home and text them to let them know they are next in queue. Yes, the staff may be nice but we rate the quality and efficiency of service, which won't make up for it. They need to change the system in which they interact with their patients who are already making the effort to come and seek their services.

I asked what was the wait time and then the receptionist answered, I said thanks then another receptionist made fun of me and started laughing. This was Thursday, Dec 26 at 5:07 pm. I don’t know the names of the receptionist but there were three, two women and one man. They shouldn’t do this. Have respect for every patient.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO I WOULD. Waited more than 30 minutes in the lobby. And waited another more than 30 minutes inside the room. Just for a covid test because im coughing even after telling them i just did covid test. No further questions or test asked. Why would u put us inside the room, and make us wait another hour or so? This is worse like emergency rooms. I know better urgent care that i go to. I regret giving this a chance. DOESNT MATTER WHO NEEDS CARE FIRST I WAITED. I DONT FEEL GOOD TO SIT UP LONG ENOYGH INSIDE THAT ROOM IT IS RIDICULOUS!! THEN THEY SAY THEY CANT FORCE US TO STAY OFCOURSE THEY CANT COZ THEY DONT THINK ALL PATIENTS ARW IMPORTANT
