I wish I could have given more stars but my first experience was horrible with the Doctors front office worker. Not only was "Shay" rude but also displayed arrogant behavior. She couldn't find me in the system and denied getting any referral paperwork from my primary care provider and was loud and obnoxious.when one of her colleagues tried to help me she interrupted him from speaking to me. Finally, they were able to find the necessary paperwork after the whole fiasco was unpleasant but the Dr Levine was kind and professional.

My mom was diagnosed with Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm and it was very big in size and odd shape. The chance of bursting within the next 2 years was 25%. We were really scared for our mom. However, we were referred to Dr. Levine and he did a thorough analysis of what needs to be done. Dr. Levine and his staff (Michelle) were very persistent in helping us coordinate with different tests and other specialist in order to schedule surgery as soon as possible. What made them amazing was this all happened during the Christmas and New Year break while a lot of specialist and labs are on break.

Dr. Levine indicated, in general Open Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm surgery takes 4 hours to perform and usually there are massive blood loss which requires blood transfusions. The actual surgery only took 2 hours and really minimum blood lose thus no need for blood transfusion. We were so relieved. Dr. Levine saved our mom and to us he is a miracle worker and one amazing doctor. We are forever indebted to Dr. Levine, Dr. Hong and his entire staff.

It has been 3.5 weeks after this major surgery, my mom has little to no side effects so far and is doing quite well given she is already 73 years old.

My Experience was excellent. After going seven years without walking (minamally) I was able to walk one day after Dr Nathanson's operation. His demeanor, professioinalism and competence were all at the highest level. The office was very nice, the staff friendly and efficient, the appointments and followups on time. My experience was perfect and I have a new walking life due to Dr Nathanson. Stuart W Seiler

I visited Dr. Nathanson and his staff for the third time early this week. Quiet competence is my overall impression. So far, the outcome for my procedure has been excellent. I'd certainly recommend them to others.

A Pat on the Head and, "Continue taking daily aspirin and come back in 6 months," was the advice I received from a top vascular doctor in Santa Rosa for 3 years. Then I found San Francisco Vein & Vascular Institute! After a phone conversation, Dr. Nathanson arranged a duel consultation that included a heart surgeon. The following week I had a valve repair at CPMC, and two weeks later I had a blockage removed from my right leg. Because I lived 4 hours away, Pattie O'Kelly, the surgical RN pushed me uphill in a wheelchair to my hotel and brought me dinner and breakfast, checking my incision each time. Talk about service! 3 years of pain vanished! 10 months later my primary called on a FRIDAY night at 10 pm and said I needed emergency surgery ASAP due to a life-threatening blockage. At 10:22 pm I called Dr. Nathanson's Service. At 10:32 pm he called me back and I had the procedure the following Tuesday. He didn't stop there! He checked the rest of me and found another blockage that he cleared the following week. He still didn't stop there and gave me a full checkup and found a third blockage that needed major surgery, which he did 10 days later at CPMC. The follow-up from the staff has been exceptional in all 4 cases! If you have been suffering from swollen, painful legs or any vascular problems, CALL THEM. The staff listens, the doctors care, the facility is immaculate, and they might just save a limb, or even your life! Most important, you will have a chance to enjoy the future pain-free.

Over the past two years I underwent three surgical procedures. All went smoothly. Dr. Marc Levine gets full marks for professionalism and friendliness. And I could not ask more of the service rendered by the receptionist crew
