This place is a joke. Doctors don't listen, if they even show up for the appointment. In 4 years, their charges have gone from $50 for an in person appointment to $275 for zoom calls that last 5 minutes. During those calls, the doctors pretty much let you decide what you want to do, prescribe what you think works instead of what they think is best based on observations and feedback. It's impossible to talk to anyone there; you only get to leave voice messages and MAYBE someone will call you back. With such a high increase in pricing, I'd expect the quality to match.

Salus Care has the worst communication system ever. I’ve been prescribed diff meds for a week now, mind u I’m not even on them because I can’t get a hold of them. Recently seen that I was left a voice message stating that their system was down and if I would like I can go in and pick up to give to my prescriber. Mind you I live in Immokalee which is a drive and I work so that wouldn’t work. But being that it’s been days and they’ve seen I haven’t gone there to pick it up it would only make sense to get back in contact with me regarding why I didn’t pick it up and if they can send it to the pharmacy closest to me right? Well that’s not exactly how that went, I was in the phone with a lady “Mary” and she transferred me to the nurse, which resulted in me having to leave a voicemail, when it’s time to leave one low and behold I’m unable to because her mailbox is full when I call back I get Mary again and she sounds very uninterested and tried rushing me off to leave another voice message not listening to anything I stated. For employees to work with mental health patients , it seems like they may need to look for another career, they sound like they have no empathy at all just there for the money, meanwhile all I’m doing is trying to cope with my anxiety and depression while also WITHDRAWING! Thankfully I just got a call back from Sue who is working on this promptly. Salus Care needs to have a good intervention with their employees. Disappointed.

For the most part....this is a horrible place. CJ one of the good guys there and and dark skinned man that work there are admirable. This place needs OVERSIGHT!

The people's that come there need help and as they call it discharge people for not making there beds properly or forgetting to take there medication... People that go to this place have problems obviously yet their treated as if they don't ...there is no treatment just judgement as they have all the power and they misuse it terribly. People live there but most receive no help just judgement most of the workers only care about there job not those people.... someone PLEASE! DO something about this place

I scheduled an appointment for July 1. I got a notification two days before and was waiting on a Zoom link, so I called and they told me my appointment had been cancelled and moved to July 13 (without me knowing?). I waited until July 13, and got my notification the appointment was happening soon two days prior. On July 13, it gets dangerously close to my appointment time... and no Zoom link. I actually DROVE to the building. I go to the Entrance only to find out I need to go to the "Front Entrance" and sign in there. The doors are locked and I need to ring a bell to get in - theres no bell on the door marked Entrance, it's on the exit door. I get a woman to let me inside and I tell her my name and appointment time and it turns out I never had an appointment scheduled with them! I asked how they would explain the texts and they said they got a new system so I might have been dropped or missed. Their system then went down and couldn't get a new appointment for me.They told me they would call to reschedule, but honestly the staff seemed very ill prepared and the buildings did not seen safe, clean, or welcoming. I did not go back. All I needed was a therapist for anxiety.

(posted this on yelp as well.) The main reason I went to SalusCare was to find a psychiatrist who knew about dissociation. When I got there and was able to talk to one, she said she was unfamiliar with it. The next day, another psychiatrist came in and not only did not understand it either, but he put air quotes around it when repeating it to me. Every mental health specialist should know that the first rule of treating a patient is to validate their experience. He continued by asking me the same questions as the psychiatrist from the day before and then said he would have to call my dad to confirm my story. I told him they had already confirmed it yesterday and he admitted that he hadn’t even looked at the notes from yesterday. I could’ve been discharged earlier but because he hadn’t looked at the notes, I wasn’t. The only reason this review is two stars instead of one is that most of the techs and group therapists were really nice people. They were actually a lot more helpful than the psychiatrist, which is a little concerning given that it should work the other way around. Okay place if you are only looking to discipline someone, wouldn’t recommend if you are trying to make any real changes to their behavior or help their mental health.

Drove 40 minutes for the front desk woman to yell at me as soon as I walked in. I was told to show up at 2:40 for my appt at 3. I did and did not get seen until 3:17. I was told I would have an hour for my first appt, dr Whitney kicked me out by 3:46. So for a 29 minute appt they charged me $350. Not a single person I met was nice in this place.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. I've been a patient here for 8 months, & it's horrible. This is the only place in a 50 mile radius that takes my insurance. It generally takes about a month to get an appointment, but then you usually end up in the waiting room for at least an hour after your appointment time because they take tons of walk-ins who don't bother to make appointments. The doctor sees you for 5 minutes, ignores any issues you're having, & sends you on your way. I called in the beginning of July to make another appointment to get my prescription renewed, & they told me I couldn't get in until October 10th. My pharmacy called them for 2 weeks to get permission to renew my prescription, & they never once answered the phone or called back. I called as well, & got the same results. They force people to come in so they can charge them hundreds of dollars for their useless 5 minutes with a doctor who couldn't care less. The place is always dirty & every single person who works there is rude. They need to be shut down.

If i could give 0 stars i would. The only reason why i have been going here for a year is because i actually liked my PA. She was always understanding and helpful. Other than her everyone else is unfriendly and unwilling to help. For example, i have called and left 3 messages since last week waiting for a nurse to call me back. I have yet to get a call. I called back multiple times and asked to not be sent to voicemail and to find a nurse because i need assistance. I got voicemails both times. I also am a bankers hours working adult. I have told them many times in the past, please tell me what my actually appointment time is so i can work as long as possible and not sit in the waiting room for a half hour before my appointment. I am never late and do not appreciate them taking time out of my work day when its unnecessary to be there 30 minutes before an appointment. When started coming the first day itself was awful. if i didnt already have anxiety and depression they for sure gave it to me. i had to do an emergency walk in. They told me to come back at 11 for my intake. I did my intake and then they told me that the next appointment wasnt for like a week. mind you i was on the edge of a mental break down and just needed some help to manage my panic attacks. I sat there for hours not knowing if they were going to be able to fit me in. The front desk staff is extra rude and doesnt care.
