The group’s structure as a medical group implies a collaborative approach to patient care, often involving multiple physicians and specialists working together. I agree with some regarding the telephone service. I have been going here for 8 years. I have had a few issues with PA's. My primary doctor is the best. I have an appointment every 6 months for blood work and medication updates. Clockwork. I had pneumonia after returning from vacation. I went to emergency. A Sunday. Primecare called me and said that they needed me to come in for a hospital follow up. I saw my primary within a week. I believe that all the health clinics and doctors are short staffed and over booked. Just like everywhere else. My daughter in laws primary left his practice of 40 years and went to Kaiser. Life is different now. Continued prayers for us all.

I know it's like this a lot of places, but I don't know why it takes months to see someone. I had an appointment a few months back, to be a new patient, and find a good GP, with a Dr. Robledo...They cancel on me the day of, 15 minutes before my appointment. I was already in the parking lot and mind you I waited months for this appointment. I now waited 3 months for this upcoming appointment next week, and they call to cancel on me, and tell me I can come back in August with some other random doc. WTF. We are goin on almost a year now. Does anyone else know of any other doctors taking on new patients?

Unprofessional, condescending receptionists who just sit and gossip, leading to improper records. They will have you waiting for an hour or more but God forbid you show up and try to check in on time. I was at the counter checking in and after she demanded to rescan my insurance and then had to go look for an authorization form, she legit tells me I'm too late for my appointment. Nadia will hang up on you and the others won't even give you a name. Don't go here.

Doctor Rudrapatna has been my primary physician for years, and he started me on meds for hypertension originally. Since I turned 50 he's tried to schedule a home colonoscopy and even made me witness him asking the staff to do it. They never did. At 54 I finally asked him to schedule a full colonoscopy instead. I hadn't visited for a while and was told my prescription couldn't be renewed until I scheduled an in house appointment and labs with fasting. Was able to schedule the labs but MyChart was just showing No Availability for the doctor. Received reminders for the labs, fasted 12 hours, took off work and checked in to the exam room. Was told the doctor had not ordered labs, he was working from home and not available to see me so they sent me away. The next day I received an after visit summary and a message that my refill was denied. Now I'm a week away from running out of blood pressure medication and looking for a different medical group. I just don't have the time to keep trying with PrimeCare.

I understand that each individual takes time BUT when I respect my appointment time I expect it to be reciprocated. There is no reason one should have to wait 1.5 hours and still be waiting. This infuriates me to no end….

First and foremost SVMH and Primecare are a business. Don't expect compassionate care here. All SVMH billing cares about is getting paid, not your health.
