Russell Medical ER needs a serious overhaul. As stated in other reviews they apparently don’t have doctors in the ER or if they do there is only 1. I can’t say for sure because we never saw a doctor after about 4 hours we just left. I understand acute patients are seen first but the courteous and responsible thing to do would be to come in and say, we have been inundated with some very sick patients so the wait is going to be quite some time and give us the opportunity to leave if we wanted. Instead they say nothing and basically let you waste your time. An X-ray was taken fairly early on in the visit, certainly the dr could glance at this and let you know if something is broken. I can’t imagine this taking more than 5 minutes but did a dr take time to tell us…..the answer is no. The good news is I think if you are potential heart attack patient you have a better chance of being seen sooner than 4 hours. Aside from the lack of care in our visit it is not a clean place. Definitely feel like I need a shower after leaving there. There was not a person around cleaning in any of the common areas. Really sad but I definitely would not recommend this place!

How can you say,nothing is wrong with the knee,clearly its swollen 4 times its size.Next time try looking at the knee instead of saying what happened ,will get an xray. 4 hours later have a nurse come in to discharge. Thanks Russell ER Doctor,made it to my car with it only buckling 5 times before reaching it.?

RMC is the worst! I went in for pelvic pain and all they did was give me freaking TYLENOL and send me home. It’s clearly something else wrong that they missed.

If I could give a negative stars, I would. This place needs a better staff. My family member was rushed there and we sat in the back from approximately 9:30 am, until about 7 pm. We saw a nurse MAYBE 2-3 times, upon me going out and asking questions and receiving snarky attitudes from the rude nurses. THEN, we are told “we don’t see anything,” meanwhile hours later we hear a new scenario. So, if you would like to waste your whole day, watch your family member deteriorate, and receive the bare minimum care while being given dirty looks; go here. If not, I would recommend you take your loved one elsewhere so they can get adequate human decency.

Worst experience ever!!! Took my grandmother to the er tonight due to extreme pain in her belly dizziness, fatigue, cold chills needless to say when we finally got in a room they put us in a dirty room the sheet hadn’t been changed on the bed the blood pressure cuff was still attached to the machine along with the pulse thing that goes on your finger. I had to change the sheet myself I left everything else attached and in the floor. An hour later my grandmother needed to go to the restroom so she did so as soon as we walked back in the room the nurse comes in stating she needed to get blood and a urine sample my grandmother explains to her she just went to the restroom and the nurse got extremely mad then tries to hook her up to the blood pressure cuff that was not hers. So I proceeded to tell her that wasn’t hers we were put in a dirty room that belonged to the person that was in the room before us she apologized and went about her way threw it away and did not hook my grandmother up to a new one. So after about 2 hours the dr decided to come in and let me just say that was a complete joke told us he really needed to do an ultrasound on my grandmother but couldn’t because there was no one there to do it and if they called someone to come in and do it they would quit so he does a ct instead and after 20 mins proceeds to tell us the ct showed nothing and laughed in my grandmother's face asked her if she needed a pain pill and when she refused it his response was well obviously your not hurting if you won’t take the pain pill. Sent her home to follow up with her dr but is treating her for gallstones that he doesn’t even know if she has because the ct supposedly showed him nothing. Now I get the er gets busy and they have other patients and so on but she was also a patient who had a serious medical condition that led her to the er that they completely made a joke out of I normally don’t do things like this but to laugh in her face and call her a lie was disgusting. The whole visit was horrible. I wouldn’t even give it 1 star but I had to so it would let me post this. I can continue with more on how the night went but I’m gonna leave it at this.

Worst ER I've ever been in. I hurt my knee badly and all they did was an X-RAY, could have done an MRI, but they sent me on my way.
My sister has been for a bad fall on a stick, they sent her home with a 2.5 inch broken stick in her leg that came out 2 weeks later. They don't care here......I've gone in for a terrible infection from a dental procedure, I was so sick I couldn't ever open my mouth and all I wanted was to make sure infection wasn't spreading......they came in the room and told me that they couldn't do anything.....my dentist was closed and out of the state at the time .....if I had thrown up I'd have choked to death. I've had nothing but bad experiences here.
