Dr. Ruby Powar is the best, most caring and considerate doctor I have ever been to in my life. She is the only reason I still see drs today. I had horrible experiences before her and by the time I got to her, I was over it. I didn't even plan on seeing her long term but she asked me to give her a chance and let her be the last dr I tried before I just gave up and lived with my illnesses. She has never, ever given me the feeling or impression that she was only there to get her check to fund her life. She never made me feel stupid for not knowing things nor has she ever made me feel like I couldn't come back to her in the future. Dr. Powar has renewed my faith in the health care system and I am FINALLY getting the help and attention that I need!! With the help of her and another dr that I also learned to trust, I am now able to know my conditions and how to properly treat them. I wouldn't ask for any other doctor in the world!!!

My very first visit. I was scheduled for 12:45 pm, arrived at 12:15 pm called by nurse for history, weight, and blood pressure check. It's now 2:08 pm and here I am still waiting for the doctor. Just 3 minutes ago someone popped in just to say sorry for the wait, the doctor will be with me soon.
I usually do not review a doctor especially before meeting them but this is RIDICULOUS. I do have to say though that I was happily satisfied with the meeting. She was very thorough and asked lots of questions. Offered great advice and gave me homework and a lot to think about. Very awesome to meet a caring and concerned physician.
