Prescription was sent over a month ago and has yet to be filled. I called the call center several times. Each time I was told someone would contact me whether by email or phone. I NEVER heard from anyone!! I had to pay for my expensive supplies out of pocket while trying to get a hold of someone (which I could barely afford)! I finally had it with them and called a different company who contacted me the same day and got my supplies sent out the next day. If you want things done in a timely manner DO NOT use Rotech!!

I have returned equipment to the local shop over a month ago. I have a written statement from the local shop that the equipment is returned but they are saying they need to collect the gear. Calling the billing team they could not provide a manager to assist resolving this issue. I have been dealing with this for a month. The person “tried” to call the local shop but could not. They told me to call back again. When I asked for the manager they told me one would call in 72 hours. I have never had them return do anything in the 72 hour window they stated. I had several tickets the all were to be handled in 72 hours and not handled. Frankly this company is a scam. Any medical insurance that supports them is supporting a scammer in my option. Also emailing them gets no results. It took 7 days for the first reply and my first reply. Back was 40 minutes later and they did not respond.

They have a real difficult time getting insurance numbers straight. twice now since being put on the service starting 3/28/2024 this companies billing department submitted a claim to either a policy which was not in effect for the date of service and once for a policy which had not begun for the date of service which it was filed. I gave them the insurance numbers for the appropriate date of service and they still messed it up. Time to go to Home Medical Supply where someone will listen.

I try to be polite guy when i call to have some information of my case or fix some issues with my equipment but always i talk with a lady with bad mood, bad day, bad attitude, bad everything. Why is so hard give to the customer-patient a good service.

I was gonna leave an honest review in hopes someone would see and correct things. But they clearly don't care about their ratings or how they treat people. I am a home medical care patient. Their billing structure is unclear. The online portal is hard to use. Billing history online is nearly impossible to read. Customer service is non existent. Every single person I've talked to on the phone gave me attitude. I spoke with Ray today and he raised his voice to me in a very unprofessional manner. I have previously talked to other customer service representatives who immediately treated me in a condescending manner. I had to tell the customer service rep multiple times to check their records that I was submitting my monthly monitoring before they did actually find it. This company is a joke and apparently have cornered the marked in some regards. Do your research and find another company to deal with if possible.

Cannot recommend this company. Their billing department does not know how to properly apply payments to your account. I continue to be billed for items from late June which were paid in full in July. Attempting to contact them results in no resolution and lies about getting call backs from managers. If you use them, do not pay any amount shown on bills without confirming what they are billing you for and whether you or insurance has already paid those items.

Truly awful at the corporate level. My local branch is staffed with good people who do their best, but as a CPAP patient, once I had my machine all the supplies and billing goes through corporate and they are absolutely horrible. Rotech bills the patient what they THINK the patient portion will be before they bill insurance. When I make a payment, they apply it in different percentages to different invoices instead of to the one I am actually paying. The invoices have incorrect insurance allowable amounts and they don't show what the insurance has paid or applied to a deductible. It took me months to figure that out and stop using them but I am still receiving bills even though I stopped services in July 2022. I have file two BBB complaints at this point. Reading their BBB reviews and complaints is an education and I wish I had done that before I started service with them.

Most appalling is their customer service line. Their workers are unknowledgeable, rude, and inconsiderate. It is literally impossible to be passed to a supervisor, supervisors will not take calls.

My doctor said my CPAP machine would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks later I called my doctor. Turns out Rotech, a vendor, was supposed to contact me. After the call to the Dr., Rotech called immediately and said they didn't have my address which is impossible since they got it from my Dr. I gave them the address and still no CPAP for 6 more weeks. Called Dr. again who spoke to Rotech. Rotech called me again and said their automated calling system tried to call me but I didn't answer. No one mentioned after talking to four humans I'd have to speak to a computer so I guess I missed the call. They then told me I had a $250 co-pay and that I'd have to pay $20 per month for supplies. I reluctantly paid the $250. I called my insurance company and learned that all durable medical equipment and supplies are covered 100% with my insurance. My insurance customer service rep called Rotech with me on the phone. This is where the fun began. We spoke to "RJ" who refused to ID herself any further. It was like speaking with a child reading cue cards with a really bad Western Indian accent. She just kept repeating the same lines. I only understood every third word but my insurance rep went at her pretty hard. She told us everything she couldn't do, make a change, refund my money, let us speak to a supervisor, etc., yet she kept putting us on hold and coming back with a different answer. It is pathetic that a company that deals with medical equipment can be so poorly run, unprofessional, and difficult to work with. I was embarrassed for Rotech that they company is such a joke. My insurance company will be re-evaluating their relationship with Rotech and I will find a different vendor since I have that option. Rotech is horrible. Do not use them if you can avoid them. DO NOT send them money unless your insurance company says you have to. Total scam!!!
