Ferris is a great doctor however

This has been the WORST experience I’ve ever had in my life. When I got there they put me in basically a utility room instead of a normal room. I told the nurse I was in EXCRUCIATING pain and she said she can get me antibiotics and it’s going on the 5th day and I still haven’t gotten treated. After I get my results and referrals I’m changing my provider.

Hi , my name is Dena. I have been going to Roots for two years now. The staff is incredible. Each and everyone there , goes above & beyond of what you would expect.. They listen to your needs. The nurses are professional & very kind. Dr Golden is amazing as is Dr Benji… They have a group therapy session on Wednesdays which I attend via zoom . Tory is so bright & caring. And the man that runs the group keeps it interesting & fun! Carmella I think she runs the office , she’s sharp & kind. Hannah just called me back with an issue I was concerned about. She reached out to Dr Golden , and he renewed a script I was out of. But not only did Hannah call me back , she listened to me ramble in about some sad issues going on in my life. The staff truly care about every patient that walks through that door! From the person that takes your blood pressure or your blood… they’re so kind & caring..

The Roots staff and organization are superb. They provided the three of us special treatment since two of the people in the car have walking problems The staff made a friendly and sustainable connection. I will always remember their smiles. I had both Covid-19’s test completed at Roots mainly because of the staff’s professional. I will get my booster shot at Roots in the month.

I went in at 930 am and was out of there by 1015 am. I received my covid 19 test shot on a Monday morning, and I had my results Monday at 11pm. This was not as bad as my anxiety made it seem. I will be going to this sit if I decide to get vaccinated soon. Everyone was professional and kind. It was a pleasant atmosphere and I appreciated the entire experience.

Dr. Williams is one of the best doctors I know but I don't like the way some of the staff there treat some of us that go there. They talk down to them and act like they don't know what they are doing. Small things like that can make for a hard trip to see the doctor.

Totally unprofessional and disorganized entity. I have some serious concerns! Best known for their covid testing sites but they are so disorganized. Maybe an overhaul of each of their programs. Mismanagement does come to mind when reviewing this (dis) organization. Absolutely lacking in the necessary resources needed to assist the East Oakland community. Like the AC Transit bus lines in which serve 🤔 this community, you will be waiting ✋ quite a time for any meaningful service.

(COVID 19 TESTING) My son and I got tested on wednesday. Yes, the line can be very long as you line up prior to 9:30 (opening time) or early morning. Once the testing site opens, the lines move fairly quick. I'm extremely thankful and appreciate of all staff members, from the guy working and directing the gates who greeted my son to the amazing back staff. Erica, was AMAZING. This woman was so patient and kind with my 6 year old and went above and beyond to ensure we got tested in a safely manner. My son was scared and wouldn't stop crying and she handled it like a pro. Now my son can't stop talking about "Erica being so nice". Thank you!

Roots has been mine and indeed all of East Oakland’s go to for the entire pandemic. Just went in for my omicron booster. Very professional but friendly and accommodating staff. No lines and gave me a vegan lunch to boot! Forget about Walgreens or CVS. They just kick you out and say book an appointment online. ( Which I found impossible to do). I think the govt should pull all these pharmacies covid subsidies and direct them to places like Roots that are actually doing the work!
