worst experience ever & they delete bad reviews!!!

my mom had a bad car wreck back in 2016 which left her in a coma and then ended up having a stroke which completely messed up her right arm & right leg on top of multiple other things. she had to quit her job and go on disability. i've been taking care of her since and just now decided to try to get FMLA because she's been in and out of the hospital. she's been going to this doctor for years when it was Dr. Cook over the facility and loved it but now of course "Dr. Carroll" has taken over and it's gone completely down hill. She knows nothing but to tell people to go to the hospital. After my moms recent doctors appointment she told my mom to go to the hospital if her legs swelled up any worse so that's what we did and guess who seen her in the hospital, "Dr. Carroll" she admitted her for 4 days at Stringfellow & we only seen her doctor for the first 10 minutes we were there while they still never completely found out what was wrong.. after being discharged from the hospital a couple days went by before my moms check up appointment at "Dr. Carrolls" office where my moms legs were back swollen. Dr. Carroll did blood work
AGAIN and I asked for her to sign my FMLA paperwork because of course after the blood work came back Dr. Carroll told my mom to go back to the hospital. When Dr. Carroll seen my paperwork she said she would have to ask her office manager if she could sign them because she had never signed FMLA paperwork before. She came back from talking to the office manager and told me I would have to go to MY doctor and get them to sign off on it (my doctor knows nothing about my moms treatments and the paperwork clearly says i'm asking for FMLA for THEIR patient being MY MOM) so then I proceeded to try to talk to Dr. Carroll again which a lady in the hallway had to talk for me because she wouldn't come back out to speak to me. She proceeded to say again the office manager told her not to sign them, so l asked to speak to the office manager and when I did the office manager disagreed and said it's up to the doctor whether or not she wants to sign off or not. So then I asked to talk to Dr. Carroll again because it was a whole lot of back and forth lies from both of them.
The office manager told me I wouldn't be able to speak to Dr. Carroll again because she was "busy in clinicals all day" so I told her I would wait on her to not be busy. After about 15 minutes Dr. Carroll came out and got an attitude saying "I TOLD YOU IM NOT SIGNING THOSE NO N.O. YOU CAN LEAVE OR I CAN CALL APD TO ESCORT YOU OUT!" they truly had no reason to not sign. I asked multiple times for just a reasoning to why not and they couldn't give me one. I understand some people take advantage of FMLA and want you to sign not truly needing it but this is not one of those times! I am my moms primary care taker and they couldn't even give me a simple reason as to why they wouldn't even look at the paperwork they literally just told me no. Of course after we left was when they called and told us to go back to the hospital because of her blood work. They know my mom’s conditions and simply do not care about their patients. It was the most unprofessional place i've ever step foot into. I'm moving my mom to a different doctor and I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone, not even mice or fish. "Dr. Carroll" should not be a doctor period. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

You might what to think twice before going to this clinic, especially if Dr. Carroll labels you “Persistent” because you ask questions. Dr. Brooke Carroll was Initially pleasant; however, that flipped when I simply wanted clarity on a decision she had made. It started with me initially calling to speak with Dr.Carroll but was guided to her assistant Brook . During the mist of our conversations, Brook told me that if I had additional questions to callback or set an appointment. Thinking that I wasn’t being clear with the assistant, I set an appointment to explain what I needed to Dr.Carroll. I stopped by the office several hours prior to my appointment and ask to speak with Brook since all of my contact was with her. I was told she was busy prepping for a patient, however, I was the only person there, and could not speak but for me to set an appointment. A few hours later Dr. Carroll called with the nastiest attitude, and told me that she has never had a patient that was so persistent , not rude, but persistent. I asked why she would not sign a form stating I was not treated for a symptom or that I never shared the symptom with her, and with the nastiest response she replied “ Because I said so.”and she hung up the phone. 24 hours later, I received a certified letter that I have 30 days to obtain a new physician , but little did she know, during the conversation with her I had already made the decision I was not coming back to her or that clinic.
During my conversation with Brook or Dr. Carroll I never raised my voice, used profanity, or presented any signs of aggression. My questioning her decision as a physician made her upset. As my physician she provided no solutions. Her assistant kept referring me to a specialist that explained that I would have to be referred , and instead of assisting me in finding a specialist, Dr. Carrol became unprofessional in her response because she felt her title give her that privilege.

I’m a new patient here. Dr. Brooke Carroll is AMAZING! She took her time with me and was very explanatory with all of my concerns! Completely changed my primary care to her! ? The wait wasn’t long and her nurse Savannah is also equally as awesome!

Savannah is awesome and Dr Carroll is amazing. She really took the time to listen to my concerns and help me decide what was best for me. Her caring and compassion for her patients is like none I have experienced from a physician before.

Dr. Brooke Carroll is an AMAZING doctor. She made me feel extremely comfortable and listened to everything I was concerned about. She didn’t make me feel little or make me feel like the things I was worried about was dumb. She made me feel like she was my friend. I’m glad I found her!

My appointment was at 3pm ,wasn't seen until 5pm. When speaking to the receptionist she never quoted me a doctor visits fee. I was only informed about the 175 dollars I paid for my yellow fever shot. They will find any reason to bill your insurance. Not to mention they are extremely rude, especially the ladies who answer the phone, and at the front desk. Mostly the heavier lady with the Bob and the bad high lights in her hair. I would not recommend this clinic to my worse enemy. Unprofessional, rude,expensive, and d ont deserve the business they receive.

Dr Stancell is great. He spends time with you and provides information and instructions in an understandable way. He is by far my favorite doctor. If you are looking for a primary care doctor I'd recommend him.
