Wonderful layout of the hotel buildings around the pool! Wow, 2 king size very comfortable beds in one room each with four pillows. Hot water and great pressure in the shower. Empty refrigerator to keep your drinks cold. Very cool retro lobby and starlight lounge (small, but welcoming). Being an IHG platinum they gave us drink coupons which was very welcomed. We everyone we interacted with was friendly. The hotel is mid-century retro (some might complain that it’s dated, but I think that adds to the charm). The main pool is the highlight of the hotel. The service could be a little smoother all around at check-in/ out as well as the coffee shop, pool bar, and restaurants… but the drinks are great! Would stay here again for sure.

I had a wonderful stay. The hospitality and care by all of the staff was exceptional. The location is great and the resort very relaxing. I got breakfast each day of my stay and Jaeyden was fantastic. She is great at her job. She was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to provide such great service. Brain, Dustin and Alex at the front desk were also great as well as everyone I encountered at the valet.

I would consider this more of a 3.5 star hotel. The service was great - I had workers take bags to my room for me (even though I only had a carry on), grab me electrolyte drinks for the drive home, and concierge/housekeeping were friendly and quick.

The reason I say this is more of a 3.5 star hotel is because of the room. There was lime scale on the faucets and shower head. I had to move rooms because there were small ants in the bathroom and on the counters (apparently happens due to the garden outside?). The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but you can tell they just fill those bottles with cheap product. Hand soap was bar soap. Room was spacious but couch and chair had a few stains. The central AC/heat vents looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. When I ran the bath, the water came out milky first and then eventually ran clear. Things like that.. overall had a comfortable stay but I did get a bit grossed out by those things.

I will say, the bed was very comfortable. And I had breakfast covered in my stay and the food was great.

I arrived at the hotel around 3 PM, I first tried to check in early, but was told my room wasn’t ready. That was understandable, so I waited in my car for almost an hour.

At exactly 4 PM, I returned to check in again, only to be told that my room was still not ready. Worse, the front desk couldn’t even give me an estimate of when it would be available. They just said housekeeping wasn’t done and that I should wait for a call. That’s ridiculous.

The reservation clearly stated that check-in time is 4 PM. Why couldn’t they honor that? There was a long line, but most guests got their rooms? Even during the holiday season, there should be basic time management. This is unacceptable.

Very disappointed. Cheap hotel, cheap service.

My friends and I came here for vacation and felt welcomed and well taken care of by the staff. From the moment we arrived, Sebastian—one of the managers—made check-in seamless. He was friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We also had the pleasure of interacting with James who brought our bags to the room and had great conversation with David at the bar! Pablo and Alex at the front desk were awesome and kind and Dustin the manager as well was also very helpful! We hope to be back again soon, we are from Portland, OR and had to leave the sunshine and return to rain!||Thank you to the entire team for making our stay memorable :)||Best,||Hannah, Leo, and Friends

I just joined a friend at this resort this past week. We had the best time.
The hotel is clean, stylish, and feels very safe.
The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Great pillows!
The fitness room was great and both pool areas were wonderful.
I received two spa treatments at the resort spa. A wonderful facial and one of the best massages of life from Katherine, who was so sweet and talented!
The best part for both of us was the warm and friendly service from all the staff. Tanya took great care of us at the pool bar. Jaedyn and Carlos started our days off right at the Palmetto. We loved them so much, we stopped by to say goodbye to them when we checked out.
Shane also took great care of us at Circa 59 on our last night.
I would happily stay at this resort again the next time I'm in Palm Springs.

My mom and my sister and I had a blast on our recent 5 night stay at the Riviera Resort & Spa Palm Springs. Yep, we saw the bad reviews prior to mine, but, we went and we were delighted because it had everything we were looking for, for a very reasonable price. OK - it's not a brand new property, but, that was only really evident in the rooms, which we really didn't spend time in at all. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The common areas are nicely updated and vibey, the restaurant food was actually great and what we really appreciated was the scale of the property. It was the perfect size for us. We didn't want a 20 minute walk to our room or another 25 minutes for the valets to bring our car around. we didn't want cavernous restaurants or common areas. It was more like 3 minutes walk for everything and those common areas felt boutique. We wanted a resort that would be less likely to attract families with kids - check. The Spa is FANTASTIC in terms of quality of services and amenities and variety. We were absolutely delighted to have a room with 2 king beds!! You never see that. The location facilitated very easy access to downtown and the airport and Desert Hot Springs. We loved the fire pits on the pool deck every evening. The absolute best feature, though, was the staff! they worked hard to accommodate every single request from Pablo at the front desk to Carlos at the patio restaurant.
