I went to Dr. Snellgrove having severe back pain, tight gluteal and hamstring muscles with pain radiating down my legs, creating knee pain. I explained I had a prior discectomy on the disc between L-4 and L-5. I requested an x-ray, MRI, and neurosurgical consult. They lied about my co-pay, telling me it was $45 and filing insurance would not be important. It was $40 and I was overcharged for several visits. Dr. Snellgrove led me to believe they would do the MRI but when they were confronted by United Healthcare and me…they refused. My condition became worse with treatment. Now I am having numb feet that are swelling from the nerve damage. He still won’t sign for an MRI, because he would rather make money keeping me coming back for visits which he profits from. I contacted Return to Health in Pensacola and was told Dr. Renfroe, their CEO would be notified. I was never called back. This man wasn’t even able to adjust my lumbar region, kept me from the surgical care I needed, and thus resulted in signs of neurological deficits. I will have to start over seeking care from another provider and seek an attorney specializing in malpractice cases for chiropractors. I may end up unable to work or walk. Choose Dr. Stern if your policy allows. This firm is crooked, fleecing copays without providing needed care. They lie and tell you they will, but when confronted, hang up on the insurance company they say they accept. This man needs to have his license revoked and Return To Health needs to be barred from practicing. Do yourself a favor and avoid care. It will only worsen your condition and they have interest in nothing but taking your money falsely.

Dr Snellgrove is an excellent chiropractor and he deserves 5 stars. However I have had nothing but rudeness from the receptionist in charge. She continues to over charge on my copayment. My copayment is only $10 but she charges $20. I have tried multiple times trying to explain to her. Even had my insurance co call to explain to her and she refused to take calls. If she is doing it to me she must be doing it to others. I will continue to go for chiro care but have contacted an attorney for options since she lacks communication skills to get resolved…….approximately 2-3 hours after writing this review I was called and they have now corrected it to $10 co payment. It’s great that they have resolved the matter. However no one should experience the rudeness and disrespect to even look into the matter as if it was just too much to do. Not even an apology.

Been to many different chiropractors over the years, for many different spinal and muscular issues, and Dr.Snellgrove is hands down the BEST Chiropractor I've ever been to, providing amazing relief after each visit.
