I've had the opportunity to see Dr. Meier on a couple of different occasions in 2016 and 2017. Every time that I've been to this office, Dr. Meier has been compassionate, kind, and caring. When Dr. Meier comes to the room, he takes his time, does not rush, maintains eye contact rather than writing or typing on a laptop and has treated me as if I am the only patient that he has that day, even when there are several people in the waiting room. He has always given me the opportunity to explain fully how I'm feeling and does not appear rushed to just write a prescription and move on to the next patient. I appreciated his kind and attentive attitude towards me. Again, this wasn't just one time; this has been every time I've been to his office.

My last visit was in late winter and much to my surprise when I tried to schedule an appointment this week, I was told they no longer make appointments. I'm sure they have their reasons, and I respect any business' choice in changing policies, hours, etc. But, from the outside view of a patient who has just moved to the area within the last six months, it doesn't make sense for all patients.

I'm truly surprised that established patients are unable to make appointments for non "urgent care" type needs. "Walking in" for a physical, yearly exam, medicine checkup, etc is extremely frustrating and simply not conducive to a schedule that involves taking care of children, dropping them off or picking up from school, not to mention getting to work on the day you need to be seen. The staff is upfront about the wait times, which I appreciate, but knowing that there is actually a line at the door fifteen minutes before they open is a turn off for continuing with this practice.

My family doctor of many years, had to retire because of health reasons. I started a search for a new family physician and Dr. Meier's name came up on a new system that Redmond Family Care had initiated. In the past, a person would just walk into the Family Center and ask to see a doctor. They have now set up a system whereby you make an appointment online. I read about each of the doctors that were employed there and when Dr. Meier's name came up, I read about him and liked what I read. I was in need of a doctor at the time, so I just walked in and luckily Dr. Meier was on duty that day. After he examined me, he talked extensively about my situation and he was one of the easiest physicians I have ever talked with and understood what he was talking about. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and he makes you feel like you've been a patient of his for many years. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking a family physician. He seems to be well qualified in all aspects of the medical profession.

Ok,. Took of work at 8 because of a 9:15 appointment,. Now understand 9:15,. Kinda early,. Got called back at 10:05,. Been in there sense,. 11;11, and all they done it's weight,. I'm going to lose about 5 hours pay,. I yet have not seen labs or doctor,. By the way,. I've been up sense 4. Sense they want labs, have not ate. Just seen doctor, 11:19. Writing on labs. Still hadn't ate anything,. But I do love Dr Meier's. But waiting two hours, how can anyone be that far behind at 9am.
I think the lady who makes appointment don't know what she is doing,. 2 1/2 hours and counting.

My family and I have used Dr. Meier’s office for several years now. The care has always been exceptional! Because it is an urgent care center, sometimes the wait is lengthy. But, I feel that the wait is worth the quality medical care.

I went because the VA sent me there on the veteran choice program. I was treated like garbage. The staff was rude. The “coordinator” had an attitude when all I was trying to do is get help. I’ve been waiting for a VA appointment since 2013 and this clinic was a small glimmer of hope. Instead of trying to help, they immediately shut me down. The receptionist told me “you’d be better off going to another office”. Places like these are why we lose veterans. I’ve been on conference calls to make sure I was able to be seen at this office to avoid situations like this. The scheduling department and staff need to be on the same page. I will be filing a grievance with HNFS to make sure no other Veterans get sent here. The office also reeks of cigarettes and the bathrooms were disgusting. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE.

Nurse was EXTREMELY RUDE. I don't EVER rate or leave reviews even if a place is Extremely good or just plain bad. That's just not me. I prefer to keep opinions to my self, BUT I DO NOT recommend this place. Nurse asked me what my problem was and I told her. She told me it wasn't urgent and to come back again another day. FIRST of all I'm PAYING. Second of all it was pretty urgent to me that's why I'm trying TO SEE A DOCTOR. Never am I going to waste my money in this place AGAIN.

My Family Physician moved to Rome, GA and I followed. There have never been more than 3 people in the waiting area, answer Covid related questions upon arrival, unmasked or fever not seen, everything down to pens are cleaned after use and my Resident Dr is a good listener with a sharp mind.
