DON'T GO HERE! Here are at least 6 reasons. I went with my husband for an appointment here and they scheduled his procedure for next Friday. (He has shrapnel all over his spine from an explosion in Vietnam and needs these procedures periodically) The PA said they would send his pharmacy a prescription electronically to help calm him because his last procedure was so painful and he was given nothing to help. First, he office girl would not take our new supplemental insurance information. Said he would have to call billing. Second, the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy.
Third, billing would never call him back after he left a message 4 times over the next 3 days.. Fourth, the day before the procedure he drove to the office and told them there was no prescription at the pharmacy. They said don't worry about it... we will put it in your IV before the procedure. Fifth, the day of the procedure I insisted that the girl at the front desk take his new insurance info because billing won't answer the phone. She finally agreed. Sixth, We also reminded them that they said he would receive a medication in his IV... They said "you are not getting an IV and you'll have to reschedule if you want an IV" . No much incompetence at Ramos!!!! We looked at each other and said "WE ARE OUT OF HERE"! My husband and I have never been so much "on the same Page" as we were that day. WE left and won't go back. There are other doctors and we will find one. How can Ramos treat people so in need of there help due to to extreme pain this way No compassion or help for others that need them!

I feel Dr Ramos, Dr.Cassell and the whole staff treated me like they really care about me. From my first appointment with Dr.Cassell from my injection appointments with Dr.Ramos. Always had a smile when I was greeted.
Dr. Ramos told me everything he was going to do before each step, what I was going to feel and how long the sensation will last.
Very caring!!

Outstanding doctors and staff. I had a spinal cord injury when 16, pretty much fully recovered but then started to decline in my 60s including having significant pain. I practiced as a lawyer for over 35 years and consequently am extremely cautious especially given too, the location of injury (spine) and my age. Dr. Ramos was recommended by an anethesiologist from Blake Hospital who said he was brilliant. Anyway, I have been treated with epidural injections by Dr. Fura, Dr. Amen, and Dr. Ramos. All outstanding. A plus plus in terms of competence and nominal to no pain from treatment. Initially and beginning months, I had difficulty getting in, communicating with the office and doctors but that seems to have improved. I might add that Misha, a scheduler with whom I dealt with in a number of calls today went way way out of her way to ensure that I had pain medicine. Costco, Walgreens, Sun Phramacy, Walmart did not have the medicine on hand and some refused to even tell me if they had the medication in stock, insisting that a doctor had to send a script even if they did NOT have the medication. Why? I have no idea. The rules relating to pain medicine in Florida are draconion and ridiculous; it is so difficult to communicate with any pharmacy or health care providers or staff in this "modern" time where AI is answering the phone and MBAs are in charge of the medical professionals.

Have been on pain medication for some time do to getting hurt in the line of duty as a police officer. I have been a patient at Ramos for 2 years now . The process of being their patient hasnt always been the best with some of the staff doing a great job of care and others doing poor care. I have chronic pain do to my injury and my medication helps not only w that pain but depression that comes w it well my last visit has been awful with me not getting my medication that i so need to live a productive life. From what i have been told from the Ramos staff is the doctor who reviews and authorizes my prescription doesn't like the pharmacy i get my medication from so it has delayed me getting my medication in a much needed manner causing me to be wout even tho i was told it was gonna be called in and was not. I called the staff to inquire whats going on but was told we sent the doctor a message but he is busy and not sure when he can call the medication in to my pharmacy. So now i wait with no time frame of getting my needed medication even tho i was told by Ramos staff it would be called in with no delays earlier. Ramos states they are understanding and compassionate to a patients medical needs but now i wonder.

I was in extreme pain with my neck. They got me an appointment near my home a few days after I called. The staff was prompt, professional, and very compassionate. A procedure I’m having done was explained thoroughly and scheduled quickly. From start to finish it was a very positive experience!!!

Extremely disappointed in this Pain Center. Dr. Casell had a list of QR codes to check for a treatment option based on my intake of my health. I told the MA and doctor that with my fibromyalgia condition, I hurt all over. Dr. Casell said that we only focus on one area of pain and suggested I have back injections. This medical team did not examine me, just checked a QR CODE for back injections.
