I made an appointment for 9:15am online and filled out the paperwork. I arrived at 9:00am and filled out some more paperwork. Not sure if scheduling online made much of a difference, but I was called back around 9:20, which I consider very timely, given that there were four other people in the waiting room before me.
I waited in the exam room for about 30 minutes before Jenn came in. She was quick, but informative, letting me know what my insurance covered for tests and giving me options for treatment for my sore throat. She was extremely kind. I was prescribed antibiotics and know I will be feeling better soon. Overall pretty average experience at an Urgent care. Thank y'all for taking care of me.

RACIST!!!
Discriminatory and Unprofessional Treatment at Front Desk
I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience at this urgent care. When I arrived with severe leg pain, I presented a printed copy of my virtual insurance card. Despite sending the card multiple times via email to the front desk, Michelle, the receptionist, claimed she didn’t receive it. My insurance agent, who was assisting me remotely, also sent the card from a different city. Yet Michelle still insisted that no email had been received, even after we confirmed the email address was correct, letter by letter.

What made this worse was the refusal to allow me to speak to a supervisor when I requested one. Michelle claimed no supervisor was available at 10 a.m. in the office, which seemed unprofessional and dismissive. This has never happened before, and my insurance agent confirmed it was the first time they had seen a virtual card refused.

As a non-native English speaker, I believe my language barrier played a role in how I was treated. Despite my agent's help, I felt discriminated against, and I had to leave without receiving care. I believe this treatment was racially motivated, as my inability to communicate fluently in English seemed to affect the quality of service. I was left in pain and forced to return home without any medical attention.

This level of unprofessionalism and lack of compassion from Michelle and the clinic is unacceptable. I would not recommend this urgent care to anyone, especially if you are not fluent in English or rely on virtual insurance cards.

After being sick for multiple days and getting worse and it being a weekend, I chose to go to this facility over the emergency room. They assessed me but my major complaint was my sore throat and a persistent cough. Not once did they look at my throat, although they did do a strep test. The only medication was for a cough. Ultimately, I ended up with my primary care doctor the next day because I was even worse (5 days in by now) and left with a diagnosis of infections of the throat and bronchial tubes and multiple medications to fight them. BTW, my primary isn't a "write a prescription" unless it is definitely warranted. He said it was pretty rough in my bronchioles. Not sure I will go to this facility again for illness.

I went in on Sunday Morning. The reception was rude and acted as if I was disturbing her. I told her my problem. She asked if it happened at work. I said I don’t know when it it happened, but need to be seen. She said since you don’t know when it happened, I can’t file thru VA, you will have to pay out of pocket.

I asked are you refusing to see me as a veteran. She said no, but you said you were injured at work. I never said I was injured at work. She then said, very dismissively, I will have to get my provider. I guess the provider came to front, even though she didn’t identify herself, and said she was listening to the conversation and she said that said that I was injured at work and she can’t file my VA coverage. Again, I never said I was injured at work.

She refused to use my VA eligibility and said I should go to the hospital.

Very weird and anti veteran!! Don’t go here.. I will be filing a complaint with the state health board. This person doesn’t need to be seeing any patient!!

If i could give 0 stars I would!! I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the receptionist at this office. She was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic manners. While I was in the middle of explaining my concerns about burning, discomfort, and irritation in my eyes, she abruptly answered the phone without excusing herself and cut me off entirely.

When I mentioned wanting to get my eyes checked to address my symptoms, her dismissive response was, “I mean, go to an eye doctor,” followed by a vague comment about possibly being seen if I had an eye infection. How am I supposed to know if I have an infection without being evaluated?

After I explained, “Well, I don’t know if I have one, that’s why I’d like to be checked,” she reluctantly told me “i guess you can fill out paperwork”. At that point, I decided to leave. If this was the level of treatment I received just trying to check in, I can only imagine how the rest of the visit would have gone.

i love this location. they are always quick and thorough, asks tons of questions (which i love because some doctors do not care enough to ask plenty), and compassionate and kind. i’ve come here plenty of times throughout my youth, and now my early 20’s. they accepted my insurance as well. i am never uncomfortable or nervous, and i feel like i’m in good hands. they also usually send out prescriptions quickly which is another fantastic bonus. i love the staff here, thank you so much and continue to do what you guys do. i feel blessed to have such a wonderful urgent care in my town 🥹❤️

Background: I am from out-of-town and previously an Operations Director for an urgent care group in Louisiana for 12 years. I arrived sick and wanted to know if I still had Strep throat. I had already completed a round of antibiotics (written from my doctor back home) but became ill again once I arrived in FL. I was swabbed, and though I coughed and gagged, I could tell the medical assistant probably didn't get a great sample. I asked her and she said "probably not but we will see" and walked out of the room. I looked at my husband unsettled as I know very well that is not an acceptable answer. The NP, very pleasant, came in and said I was negative and it was probably allergens. I explained my history and that I was very worried I had strep, I also said the MA said she didn't swab me very well but they suddenly assured me it was a good sample (how would the provider know as she wasn't there when I was swabbed?) and I can rest that I am negative.

Fast forward a few days. I become very ill and my symptoms were so severe I couldn't open my mouth and could barely breathe. I was admitted to the ER and had a serious peritonsillar abscess. It was so painful and the doctors were furious this urgent care couldn't detect something I was positive for for nearly a month (with positive tests before and after my visit here). I should have gotten the help I needed earlier and that is what I trusted this urgent care to do for me. This UC needs to have a higher standard of care, especially in their thoroughness to properly swab and exam patients and listen to their concerns. I wish I made the MA swab me again, that is on me. But her lack of commitment to perform her job properly had to be noted here.

We have been here twice. We will never go again. The first time we waited for hours to be seen even though we had an appt booked. I thought it was just a fluke and surely it wasn’t common practice to make people wait hours after their scheduled appt time. We had to be seen today, so I made an appt for the morning. My husband was there 15 min early and he and our daughter weren’t seen until over 2 hours later (1 hour and 45 minutes after their appt time). This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Why allow people to book appts if they don’t even matter. Just have it be a walk in clinic if you are not going to prioritize appointments. Anyway, I highly do NOT recommend anyone go to this urgent care unless you want to sit around for hours.
