Carlee at the pharmacy was very rude and unprofessional towards my mother on the phone. She hung up on us and was very snippy, she refused to get someone else on the phone for us to speak with. Overall, she is the reason we will be switching pharmacies 🙁

While we found everything we were looking for and the store was clean, and had good selection; the employees could have been more courteous. Specifically, the staff stocking shelves were quite rude. They could not be bothered to move while blocking aisles unless you specifically asked, and then it was begrudgingly done. They didn't respond to greetings either. Our cashier was even reluctant to check us out. If we'd had 10 items or less, we would have gone to that cashier. She was very sweet and friendly. We love Publix, but this one needs work.

Publix has a great grocery store for freshness and availability. However, if you’re a local that lives in Orange Beach you’re probably not gonna be treated with a great service that this Publix treats their vacation visitors. It seems to me like they are all about the visitors. I’d love to have a store in Orange Beach that caters more so to locals. Each time I shop in the store, I wait for an in ordinate amount of time to be served in the deli or for the warm foods. Checking out they never fail to ask me where I’m from and how long I’m visiting for. However, I’ve lived here for six years and have visited the store mini mini times.

Could really use some smiling faces. It’s a less than half hearted “hello” you receive. Its just not welcoming at all. Kind of make you feel like you’re interrupting their day. When my refills run out, I’m going back to the family owned pharmacy where they genuinely like their job.

May 13, 2023 9:10 am - Tammie was very helpful when I asked about what appeared to be duplicate RXs I had picked up the day before. They were not, and she provided me copies of the RXs from my doctor. Good service - thanks.

On the other hand...
May 12, 2023 2:30 pm - Isabella is wound a little too tight. She should be trained to be less curt and abrupt. Maybe even toss in a “please”, or a smile, or a “thank you” when interacting with customers.

Store is pretty clean, especially for the amount of traffic it gets. It is very crowded during beach season at basically all hours of operation. The parking lot is fairly confusing to navigate. Other than that it's a solid Publix. Good selection, friendly staff, and quality goods are present here as at all other Publix I've been to.
