PPSC has always felt like a warm, inclusive learning environment that didn't have some of the hierarchical elements of other institutes. I was always encouraged to contribute in whatever way I wanted. The part-time learning option was also a key factor for me in deciding to go there. I have been on the faculty of PPSC for more than 20 years. As a teacher, I have had the good fortune of participating in the development of an amazing group of psychoanalysts. As a supervisor, I witnessed up close the knowledge, compassion, and expertise these candidates exhibited in their work with patients. Now many of these former students have become my mature colleagues. They, along with new faculty and supervisors that have affiliated with PPSC, provide excellent treatment to their patients.
