Night and day from Kaiser experience at urgent care for my son. Reasonable wait times, staff are friendly and space is clean. Providers really listen to your concerns. Imaging center right across. Saved us a trip to the ER.

We went to Chino Hills urgent care for my boy. My boy was having pain in his right ears. We thought a big ear wax was in his ear and bother him so much.

After checking, Dr. Chen finding was an acute right otitis media. He said it was nothing in my boy's ear and what I felt when I tried to cleaned his ear was part of his ear media. I was so scared that I did damaged to his ears. An antibiotic was prescribed. I also asked him if it's ok for my boy to continue with his regular activities; swimming specifically. And he said it's fine to continue with his regular activities.

Long story short, we finished the antibiotic as prescribed but he's still experiencing pain. We made another appointment with his regular doctor. To our surprise, his regular doctor said it was a foreign object in his ears and he couldn't take it out and we need to be referred to an ENT.

Should Dr. Chen made a thorough check-up the first time, we might be able to have this taking care faster and shorten the pain my boy experience. How come he could not see a foreign object when he checked it the first time?

We now have to go for a second appointment to do a small surgery so surgeon can pull the foreign object out of his ears. After 3 weeks!!

I reached out to customer service and they told me that they will forward my concern to the right department. Guess what? I reached out back after 3 days and they actually told me to reach out directly to the location. What a service we had here.

Been meaning to update this. We got a private message said someone will reach out to us but never did. I am so glad we now have Kaiser.

We have been here 3 times . First time for what we thought was a broken bone.. they told us No broken bone just a muscle tear to are 10 month baby. Next day are child is still screaming. We take him to CHOC and find out his leg is broken. They then integrated us for being bad parents at choc and could not believe we were turned away. 2nd time we come here. My child is sick. They barely look at 10 month old baby and say he just has a small bug.. 2 days later my son is now in ER and they are pumping emergency antibiotics. 3 rd and final time. We came in for covid and were treated like we were leppers…. What a disgrace to be called an urgent care!!!!

My wife's Dr^. said if she isn't there for us in Fullerton, that 1/9 Drs will be with us when our baby is ready to come to the world.
They had us in the delivery room for 45+ hours in Fullerton & never once did the Dr show up.
Started with 2RN's then . They only had 1 RN in the last 24+ hrs to deliver our baby... we asked the 1Rn we had in the end of our 2 hours "where is our actual Dr to deliver " & were told " don't worry I have done this before"
.. when my wife is on her
last push, the RN says "please deliever on my shift so I can say I finally delievered a baby"
Now our baby is in intense care, fighting for his well being.

(Not 1 Dr came into the room) (last 10 minutes with no clue what ever happened)

1 star for billing. I owe over $600 for “office visits” since they say to my ppo insurance they are not an urgent care!?!? I feel like I got swindled. Someone needs to explain this when it says urgent care above the doors I walk through?!?

first visit this last weekend for my so. who had a high fever and no other symptoms we were in and out so quickly and the nurses there cared a lot about my son and tried to make him as comfortable as he could. we just moved back to the area from vegas and we are so happy with the care we’ve received so far

Went in on Saturday raining lucky not busy (empty lobby) got seen fairly quickly- bronchitis (coughing 😷) had tested negative few days earlier for COVID (month ago vaccinated) and flu (2 months ago vaccinated) got prescribed meds, staff was nice and so was doctor, unlike other person my insurance Medicare Advantage HMO/ Anthem- Elevance since they bill as office visit I shouldn't see bill/capitulation (unlike urgent care which is $30 copay) fingers crossed on billing Providence billing is really bad, some months got bills for copay when they should not be any...
