I’m eternally grateful for the exceptional care and support I received at Promises Five Palms. The therapy team, Adam, Brooke, Barbara, Brenda, and Jill, demonstrated outstanding expertise and compassion, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment that enabled me to confront and overcome my challenges. Their guidance, empathy, and encouragement played a pivotal role in establishing a solid foundation for my recovery.

The technical staff, Bobby J, Renee, Matt, Mike, Gina, Racheal, Kira, and Taylor went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and needs were met, providing unwavering support and assistance throughout my stay.

The culinary team, led by Chef Criss, prepared nutritious and delicious meals that catered to my dietary requirements. Unlimited snacks, soda, tea, coffee, etc.

I was particularly touched by the visits from service animals, notably Dexter, whose presence brought immense joy and comfort to our group, highlighting the significance of connection and compassion.

I was impressed by the medical team's meticulous approach to medication management, which resulted in a significant reduction in my prescription intake from 10 to just two. Their expertise has made a substantial difference in my overall well-being. The nursing team was very fantastic.

Lastly, the alumni program, led by Michael, has provided invaluable ongoing support and community, enabling me to maintain my progress and connect with fellow alumni.

I extend my sincerest gratitude to the entire team at Promises Five Palms for providing me with the tools, confidence, and support system necessary for a successful and fulfilling life in recovery. I highly recommend Promises. This was the best decision Ive ever made.

Promises 5 Palms met my expectations tenfold. From the moment I got there Lesley & Ronda they greeted me with open arms and respect. They made me feel warm and welcomed. I came to promises for substance abuse and mental health treatment and that's just what I got. The facility is clean and organized the groups are engaging and informative. There positive approach to treatment keeps you going when you feel like giving up. The counselors truly listen to what you say and respond with empathy and love. I will recommend this facility to anyone and everyone I come in contact with that wants help. I have made forever friendships and I'm learning so many things about myself. The food is amazing. You get your own room which became my own personal sanctuary. (Pictures Below) I have not one negative thing to say about promises. Thank you for being a part of my recovery I'm looking forward to outpatient.

My stay at 5 Palms / Promises was extremely helpful. I came in with no hope, and left with a new direction and desire to get better. The staff is super kind and helpful, treatment plans are flexible, facility is clean and spacious, and the food is great. The therapy helps you learn to utilize strengths and improve weaknesses.

If you are contemplating the possibility of treatment then, You Need treatment…The experience I have had at 5 Palms was nothing short of life changing. I resisted complete acceptance of my critical need for help for some of my time at Promises. Eventually the staff, fellow residents and the DBT program succeeded in gifting me the ability to not only see what pieces I was missing, but gave me the understanding and tools necessary to successfully end my dangerous behaviors, addictions and mindset.
I recognize that my stubbornness and critical thinking can be a challenge to recovery. If I can overcome such strong roadblocks so can you. I want to communicate to all potential clients that my experience was successful only because of the combination of the staff, DBT, residents and the environment that exists at Promises 5 Palms.

If sobriety is what you truly want for yourself and you are willing to put in the work, whether groups, therapy etc… 5 palms has done wonders for me in 30 days and has plenty of resources for after. If your reading this and really want this change, this place is a great start to a long road of recovery.

There’re not enough good things I can say about this place and it’s staff. The whole experience changed my life…saved my life actually. I went hesitantly and was so homesick at first…it definitely took me awhile to acclimate but their professionals and my peers made everything much easier. I think about Five Palms ALL OF THE TIME. I treasure my experience there and often wish I could go back simply to experience that special community feeling that can only come from a place this special with compassionate, dedicated people. I had a life changing experience going to five palms. When I went I was lost and felt all alone. I felt life was not worth living for. My stay there taught me that I wasn’t alone. There were others just like me struggling. I had a fabulous therapist who helped me overcome my depression and deal with issues I didn’t know existed. I left there with a toolbox filled with coping skills to succeed in life. I learned about boundaries and how to respect myself and be grateful for each day. Everyone was so kind and helped in their own way in my recovery. The kitchen staff prepared delicious meals and the cleaning staff kept the facility clean. No one job was less important in my recovery than the other. The therapist, nurses and bht were all very kind and professional. I could not speak more highly. I was there just over two years and I am still doing amazing. I am very involved in Nami. I do a lot of volunteer work for them. And that was because I learned about them from 5 Palms. I have filmed my story of recovery, I publicly speak, do podcasts and am now linking up with an addiction nonprofit. This all would never of happened if it was not for 5 Palms. They have really changed my life. I am thankful for them everyday.
