This store has been a disaster for decades, run by one incompetent owner after another. My recent experience proved just how little they care about their customers. I purchased items for an important event and simply needed to exchange an unused, tagged item for a different color. Instead of common decency, I was met with ignorance, attitude, and outright refusal.

The way Black customers are treated here is disgusting. We pour money into businesses like this, only to be disrespected, dismissed, and given the bare minimum in return. And yet, people keep supporting them, allowing them to thrive while treating us like second-class citizens.

The store itself is filthy, unorganized, and filled with cheap, low-quality products. The only reason they survive is because of convenience, but let me be clear—I’d rather drive miles out of my way than ever spend another dime here. There are far better options in Hiawassee where you’ll actually be treated with respect.

This business will never grow beyond what it is: a disgraceful, poorly run establishment that preys on loyal customers who deserve better. Let it rot.

This store has been trash since I was in high school, and my latest experience was the final proof that it will never change. I bought items for church and simply needed to exchange an unused, tagged item for a different color. Instead of basic customer service, I was met with ignorance, attitude, and flat-out refusal—like they couldn’t be bothered to do their damn jobs. The energy in this place is as foul as the service.

It’s disgusting how Black customers are constantly disrespected in places like this while still spending money here. And the women who work there? Useless. They stand around like scared puppets, clueless about the garbage they sell and too afraid to speak up or help. The only thing consistent about this store is its revolving door of incompetent employees who don’t know a damn thing about the products they stock.

The store itself is a disaster—filthy, unorganized, and overflowing with cheap, low-quality junk that isn’t worth a penny. They survive off convenience, but let’s be real: it’s not worth the frustration, the disrespect, or the sheer waste of money.

I made the mistake of stopping by for convenience, but never again. There are far better stores in Hiawassee where you won’t be treated like a problem just for existing. This place is a roach-infested, half-assed excuse for a business that will never grow beyond what it is: a bottom-tier dump that exploits loyal customers. Let it rot.

If you wanna feel like a criminal please shop here. They will follow you around the store , don’t wanna exchange or refund anything even if you brought it in their face 5 mins ago. Take 15 mins to buy a blow dryer or any item in the box because they will take it out and turn it on. What kind of mess is that. Spend an extra 5 mins and drive to idrive and go to beauty exchange anything but there!!!! If your person of color please shop elsewhere

Lady asked me to leave because she "doesn't feel like watching me anymore" When my parents came in after I told them the security/cashier guy showed us pictures of other black teenagers and asked us to not talk to him upon being further pressed. When I previously left before this incident I saw that they were hyperfocused watching my dad on the cameras as he was standing still on his phone

I need to come on here to give a major shoutout to this store and a SPECIAL THANKS to Dedee! I came in today after regretting a haircut decision that has had me sad for weeks now, Dedee helped me not only pick the right hairstyle but also reached me how to install and gave me some tips that I am so grateful for. I have come to this store for hair solutions many times in the past and they are always so helpful and kind. This occasion was very different, I needed the boost of confidence and Dedee really helped me feel better and make the right purchase decision. Thank you! The photos show me with the new wig and the look is so natural, I LOVE IT! Dedee cut the lace for me and it is seem less! I highly recommend getting this service from her if you are like myself, just starting this journey.

My experience was not great at all. I went in the store to purchase Grey hair, which they did not have. Instead of just leaving, I found another option. Upon checking out, I advised the cashier that I was a hair braider, but he didn't want to apply my discount. I started to go ahead and purchase the hair, but thought I don't want to contribute to an establishment that don't support me. I purchase hair for my clients quite often, but it's not happening at this establishment today.

I have been to the store maybe four times, the owners of the store are extremely rude. They follow you around the store, they act as if every black person is a theif; this will be my last time in the store. I paid for a wig the young lady that they hired to work there offered to cut the lace for $2 I told her that was fine, I paid the $2 and the price of the wig and one eyeliner the owner would not let me take my bag with the one eyeliner in it to the wig area to get my wig cut that I had already paid for. She gave me a hard time with my credit card she acted as if I was impersonating someone else when my face and name were clearly on my driver's license. I will never ever go in this store again, and I suggest to other people that you consider the reviews you have read and make your own decision. These people profile you and treat you as if you are the biggest thief on earth.

I wish I didn’t have to give this company any stars! The customer service from the “security/cashier” guy was/is horrible! When you have a customer that wants to spend money please be helpful & not rude ! I definitely will not be returning to this store !
