I just want to share the horrible experience Imy friend had at Premier Medical on Rowan Road in New Port Richey Florida. My friend went in there on his own without being court ordered, or from a detox center. He just didn't want a drug to control his life any longer. When he went in, he had to do a urine drug screen and it was clean of any drugs whatsoever. He saw Cynthia from day 1, and she was his biggest supporter and cheerleader. He found out last week he had to have knee surgery and his surgeon explained that he would be sent home with opiods. He asked his doctor if there was any other option. Obviously for the extensive surgery, he has to be put under anesthesia, which will have opiods in the solution. To be 100% honest, which he has ALWAYS been with Cynthia, after she made his 3 month appointment, he told her about his scheduled surgery that he'd gotten the day before his appointment with Cynthia. She went ballistic! He has never tested positive for drugs, and wouldn't take the ones after surgery unless they were very necessary. His only requirement was to his surgeon was that he not continue to prescribe the opiods after the initial prescription. He agreed and he told his surgeon that he would remind him of that. He only wants to be clean. Cynthia, rather than trying to resolve the issue about the opiods, she made him feel like less of a human being, first of all, by saying she wasn't going to submit the prescription that she had written that day because my friend was just searching for drugs! Wait! What? Maybe someone needs to remind Cynthia that when patients are clean and never failing a drug screen to figure out a hurdle rather than driving them to the edge of a cliff. My friend had nothing bad to say about Premier or Cynthia before last week. He's considering not having the surgery and being in constant horrible pain since the relationship with Cynthia and Premier started a few months ago.

This is the best doctor office ever! The staff is super friendly and is so easy to make appointments.
Everytime I've been there is almost no wait to get seen.
