Preferred Care at Home of Fort Lauderdale was EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD!!! From the first moment we met Sara and Isaac we were impressed with their professionalism. But most of all, the caregiver they assigned to us Frantz was more than excellent; more that good. Every day when he arrived he was on time, not one minute late. He was so patient with us. I can't say enough about how wonderful Preferred Care at Home of Fort Lauderdale is! Isaac and his wife found the perfect caregivers for our situation in record time, and always answered calls, texts and emails promptly, ensuring that any questions or concerns were addressed. As an only child dealing with elderly parents, I felt I had a strong support team, on my side (as well as my parents' side) with Preferred Care at Home. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I was very pleased with every aspect of this service from my initial phone call to establish my needs. Isaac personally attended to every detail and left nothing unanswered. The lady he put in place was very willing to assist me in any way possible in the care of my loved one. She could not have been more accommodating in spite of the reluctance of the patient to welcome her. She was not deterred and was friendly and pleasant at all times as well as competent in her duties. My experience was excellent.

My family used Preferred Care at Home Fort Lauderdale for my stepfather in August 2021 when he was hospitalized. Unfortunately he passed away. Yesterday I had to take my mother to the ER and she was admitted. I wanted to have a nurse’s aid with her at night like we did with my stepfather and contacted Preferred Care around 4:40 in the afternoon. The owner, Isaac, immediately went to work, found an available nurse’s aid and contacted the hospital to find out what Covid restrictions were in place and start the ball rolling to have them lifted for us. He was told to call several people at a times certain and he didn’t miss a beat. He kept me informed and called the hospital and me exactly when he said he would. This went on through today until the hospital advised they lifted the Covid restrictions effective immediately. I greatly appreciate how he went above and beyond and his professionalism in the process. I have already recommended the company to someone I knew was looking for help and will continue to refer them. I am an attorney and have some guardianship clients and others needing home, hospital or other care and will always recommend Preferred Care to them.

Dealing with the challenges of an aging parent from afar, and atop that, a parent with Alzheimer's, feels overwhelming and lonely and sometimes insurmountable. My family and I had churned through a variety of in-home-caregiving companies (4, to be exact) and I've never, ever felt compelled to publicly rate them...and if I did, I'd give them 1, maybe 2 stars. They always disappointed us. Preferred Care is different. Isaac actually CARES about his clients--like really cares--I was even given his personal cell phone # and he responded to any text I ever sent within minutes. The caregiver he personally chose for my father's care is patient, understanding, unflappable, and helpful. My father suffers from Lewy Body Dementia, and suffers "sundowning" which renders him, well, TOUGH, at bedtime. Said caregiver never judges, she maintains his dignity, and she helps us in ways we are physically unable. Preferred Care takes the time to truly understand a family, its needs, and the patient's idiosyncrasies, forging personal CARE and personal RELATIONSHIPS. I'll always be grateful.

From the moment I talked to Isaac, I felt safe. He and his team are patient, they answer my calls and my questions all the time. My cargiver has compassion and understanding with what we are going through. Those who provide home care to others need to be patient, I highly recommend them.
