Genesis and Jessica were fantastic In getting care for my mom at home. She was just released from rehab and they were able to get her daily home health care very quickly. The home health care aides were very knowledgeable and made my mom feel so comfortable. Genesis and Jessica were very flexible in their scheduling and were very prompt to return any of my texts or answer my questions. Preferred Care at home of Land O Lakes is a fantastic organization. We will continue to use them as we need them for my mom. I would highly recommend this home health care to anyone who has a loved one that they want to feel comfortable having someone take care of them in their own home.

I started using Preferred Care a few months ago to provide assistance for my elderly mother who has dementia-and for peace of mind for me while I’m working. The owner cares a great deal about matching the right caregiver with the client, which is not something I experienced with other agencies I interviewed. Her employees are well trained and compassionate people. The owner also has a ton of knowledge and tips to share about elderly care and handling dementia for the families and is a registered nurse herself. We now have an awesome caregiver for my mother (who was very resistant to needing help) and I have peace of mind which enables me to be productive at work and enjoy my family at home!

Genesis and Jessica were wonderful to work with and did an amazing job coordinating short-term care for my mother after she came home from the hospital with a TBI. The care takers did a great job communicating with me throughout the night, giving me updates on how my mother was doing whenever I asked. Specifically Keirra was so kind and went above and beyond when she was caring for my mom. Highly recommend this company if you are in need of care for a loved one!

Genesis did a great job responding quickly to the needs of my parents. She assigned Jamie as my father's caregiver and my parents loved her even though they fought me initially about having a care giver. Unfortunately, my father ended up in a nursing home but both ladies contact me on a regular basis to check on his condition. This demonstrates to me that they genuinely care about their customers. Coming to grips with an elderly parent’s inability to live on their own and yet wanting to fulfill their wishes is a task that is like none other. With the help of Preferred Care I was able to help my dad stay in his home for the 15 months prior to his death. All he wanted was to stay in “his little castle” until he left us. Thanks to Preferred Care and Gulf Coast Hospice his wishes were granted. Again and again I realized that having this help was a much better alternative than considering a nursing home. He had one on one care 24 hours a day, that could never had been the same care in a nursing home situation. Genesis and Jessica worked endlessly to assure we had the best caregivers for may dad. It was like an extended family being with him and evident when so many took the the time to be at his funeral.

Genesis and her team of highly trained nurses are incredible. I referred them to my mother who has been struggling with taking care of my father who has dementia. One of her nurses was placed within days of the request and has been a god-send to my mother. Sometimes the caretaker of an ailing family member just needs a break, sometimes they need a lot of help. Having a trusted source to go to for a loved one is so important and I highly recommend Preferred Care at Home!

The nurses of Preferred Care at Home of Land O Lakes provided excellent care to my parents. Our caregivers were professional and hardworking. However, the quality that we admired most was their genuine emotional connection to both my parents. In my father's final weeks, their presence gave him and us much needed support and comfort.
