I have been a patient at PRC for about 8 years. My experience with PRC DeLand has been mostly very good. My gripe is that sometimes I arrive for an appointment and my doctor has changed schedules and I see a new doctor. I like the stability of the same doctor. One thing that hasn’t changed much has been the office staff and medical assistants. They have been a constant and they are wonderful and have been friendly, knowledgeable, empathetic and patient. I do appreciate those qualities and I suspect is that the support staff doesn’t get the thank you’s they deserve. Thank you to the support staff at PRC.

UPDATE again: to further prove how terrible this doctor is, and this office, she concluded from my x-rays that I had no spinal injuries or spinal deficiencies. Turns out I have severe lumbar stenosis, severe cervical arthritis among other issues related to my entire spine. I can barely walk. I use a cane I can no longer drive most days or do many activities. This woman tells me there’s nothing wrong with me. DO NOT COME HERE!! This place should be closed down and this doctor should have her license taken. Himabindu Gandam. Refuse her care!!

I have been dealing with severe neuropathy for over a year. I moved back to Florida this October and this was the place my new doctor referred me to to seek help and to see what could be causing my pain. They say that they treat pain from neuropathy, carpal tunnel, MS, fibromyalgia, lupus, and other rheumatic diseases. The doctor, In the beginning, she took one look at me and I could tell she thought I was lying and making things up because she thought I was a drug addict. I could tell by her questions and her demeanor, she was incredibly short and very rude. She sent me for x-rays and sent me home. I got my xrays went in for my follow up. She took two seconds to walk in the room to tell me that my pain was not caused by spinal injury, and that I was too young to have arthritis (i am 42 and my father had arthritis in his 30’s). She did not listen to the fact that I have neuropathy she did not listen to my symptoms she did not offer to have an MRI done or for me to get any sort of scans done nor did she offer pain relief. She told me physical therapy would be good enough for me. Meanwhile I can barely walk more than 100 feet without having to sit and rest. I had to stop going to the gym which I did regularly. And i cannot go out for lon. I had to stop going on long walks. I can’t drive. I can barely cut my food but yet I’m too young to have arthritis. She did not consider my neuropathy. She did not listen to me at all. She said someone would call me for therapy and that was it. while my appearance throws people off and because I have a skin allergy, it appears that I have sores or ulcers on my skin. I know that she looked at me and assumed I was a drug addict there for pills and would not take me seriously. maybe if I had walked in using my cane she would have acknowledge my pain and my symptoms instead of blowing me off and sending me on my Way. horrible Drs absolutely horrible. What kind of EDUCATED AND PROFESSIONAL MD tells a 42 year old woman she is too YOUNG to have arthritis!!!!DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! Dr Gandam, Himabindu Gandam. Literally the worst MD i have ever had the unpleasure to come across.

I was a bit nervous going after reading reviews, it was raining so I got an early start. I checked in once I got there and sat in the waiting room. One lady commented that it seemed they were busier than usual. Once I was called my Med Tech. apologized for the wait, I understood,and we went to the examining rm for vitals. She was very attentive the same goes for the Front desk Tech. I apologize for not remembering names. The Med. Tech told me the P.A. would be right in, not 1 min later she came in. She was pleasant, kind and professional also. Verified my concerns and needs. This office of medical personal is not what I expected. Even being backed up and busy the need to rush through a patients appt was an unacceptable practice, you feel you matter, thats why I am giving them 5 stars. Now we all have bad days, we are in pain thats why we go to this office, but remember to keep an opened mind when you read the reviews, because all the facts are not displayed.

Since my very first visit, All of the ladies there, Kelly, Ashley, Destiny, and PJ have always made me feel welcome and answer every one of my questions, with no hesitation. My pain management Dr. Is Dr. Bhatti. He is Absolutely Wonderful. Very thorough, very concerned with me, very caring and compassionate man. I would not go elsewhere. I Love Dr. Bhatti and All of the girls. Every time I'm leaving, they always tell me that if I have any questions or concerns, for me to call them. Thank you Dr. Bhatti, Kelly, Ashley, Destiny, and PJ. See you in two weeks ❤

Waiting room has awful, uncomfortable chairs I believe they got from a doctors office that was closed in the late 70's. The parking lot looks like the building is abandoned. Appointments are a rough idea for the DAY you will be seen. (you will get to spend a good amount of time in the previously mentioned uncomfortable chairs) The urine tests are done out in the patient waiting area where the bathrooms are, UNSUPERVISED. (bring someone else's urine, who cares!!) The urine will then be carried through the patient waiting area WHICH IS CARPETED. Eww. Also, I have seen patients set the filled urine containers down on the tables in the waiting area, so just assume everything in the waiting room has pee on it. They have a captive audience so they don't actually have to treat you with respect. Enjoy your appointment.

Was referred from my back doctor. arrived for appointment and was immediately asked to provide urine sample. Then waited for the Doctor. When the Doctor finally came in and started discussing the spinal injections that he does, I stated to the Doctor that my chart should show I had those injections 3 months ago! Oh the Doctor says well then there is nothing I can do for you because that is all we do. Ok, if someone had read my chart the appointment should have never been made or if someone had said we do spinal injections and no other type of pain management then I could have asked more questions. Now I've already paid hundreds of dollars as my co pay when I walked in the door. I did not ask for a refund although truly they should have offered one given the circumstances. now to add insult to injury I get an additional bill for a drug screening they sent out. Called them to say why am I being billed more money for a 2 minute visit. Why would you send out for a drug screening after the Doctor send there is nothing I can do to help you After trying to get someone from the office to make sense of the this ludicrous charge I was told sorry we performed a service you owe us money!!! So after seeing the Doctor for 2 minutes they billed my insurance company thousands of dollars and charge me hundreds more for a 2 minute consultation!!!!
Please avoid this office as they are only looking to find ways to bill you as much money as possible for NOTHING!!!!!!!

So as everyone can see PRC replied to my post. So I called the number and asked for the person whom replied! Oh imagine that they have yet to return my call. I’m sure there busy making sure to take advantage of other unsuspecting people!!!
AGAIN AVOID THIS BUSINESS AS THERE ONLY OBJECTIVE IS TO BILL YOU FOR NOTHING!!!!!

Dr. Bhatti and all of the ladies (PJ, Destiny, Lori, Heather, & Cortney) are great! Dr. Bhatti always takes time to explain things to me and answer questions. He never makes me feel rushed or embarrassed to ask questions. All of the ladies are super friendly and caring. I love that they remember my name and who I am always asking how I'm doing in a more personal way. Every one in the office makes me feel welcome. I'm usually in and out within an hour, occasionally it may be longer, but not often. I would recommend this office to anyone suffering from chronic pain and in search of help.

I have had the misfortune to be at this 'needle-mill' twice. The first time I agreed in good faith to be injected. It had zero effect on my pain. I was sent by my primary care physician again ,I was hoping they could at least tell me what options were available to me for controlling my pain. The "Dr Bhatti" was happy to give me my only option which was another needle in the spine. When I declined that he wanted nothing more to do with me. These places do not exist to help people,they charge medicare per injection it's fast easy money for them. Whether it helps a patient or not makes no difference. They are not physicians they are rip off artists who make money by preying on people that are in pain and desperate. Avoid them at all costs.
