Well, so far I am not impressed at all. I still have no supplies nor my needed appointment. I too was greeted by a locked door Though a sign was posted they did not accept walk ins. I was outside the door calling for an appointment. The answering service said no one was there. I thought I would call back for an appointment. While sitting I watched the delivery man have to let himself in. However on leaving, he was sure talking to someone inside. Frustrating. Though I had a Dr. prescription in hand, they wanted it faxed. Still no appointment or hope of supplies. After several phone calls I reached a very pleasant local lady. On her suggestion I called again using no options. I reached a girl who seemed rather confused I was calling her for anything. After just repeating the local persons instructions several times, she finally disappeared and I talked with a gentleman who was actually going to help me. It never is a good thing when they are asking what state you are calling from. However I had hope right until I was put on hold, Then I heard...no rats found, and was disconnected. I tried to call back. Apparently I got someone who had no clue what I was talking about. When I finally got a ring, it was to an answering service. No one has tried to contact me since my call was dropped. It makes no sense using these kind of services instead of talking with someone local. All I want is a local person to fit my face with a mask so I can buy supplies and breath while sleeping. Run people!!!

The staff have always treated me and my family professionally. Kristy assisted me in lower my monthly copay today and they have handled my CPAP supplies for 5+ years. Highly recommended!

PrattMed was the most best place I have ever visited for medical equipment. Angela the one that worked with me was very knowledgeable and professional . Things were explained In a way that I could understand and she was so courteous. Angela wasted no time getting right on my situation and I could not ask for better. They set up my rollator and showed me how to use it before I lefted. I was completely and totally satisfied with PrattMed and their services and would recommend them to anyone as a 100% rating. I wish I had read the reviews and understood that we have so many better options in town before trying this place out. Very poor customer service. After multiple unanswered phone attempts over a couple weeks to pick up an ordered mask piece needed for my CPAP, I drove here during business hours only to find a locked door with no sign indicating why. I called to inquire about their hours of operation (yay someone answered the phone for once!!) and was told to just knock on the locked door and someone would let me in. The lady that finally opened the door on my fifth knock- no greeting- berated me for knocking, and told me to go wait in my car like she was scolding a child. No timeframe was given for the wait so I and another baffled customer left. I instead called the office to try scheduling an appointment to pick up my CPAP mask part. Well, turns out you can’t always schedule an appointment through their dedicated “schedule line”. instead they took my number to call me back to schedule….Still waiting for that call, Aerocare….How is this place still in business when everything about their service seems designed to repel people from utilizing them? Save yourself this headache and call any other CPAP service in town.

This place is terrible! The people that work there seem to not want to help the customers. They very short with you! Then will tell you that you don’t have an account with them when you do. Recently I call for help and the girl seem more concerned with me not having an account. Then she advised me that they would be closing for lunch soon. Then put me on hold! She never came back to the phone….

I was told by my ins. Co. You guys handle my diabetic supplies. I called to find out and was connected to a place in Montgomery. Apparently the Prattville office is permanently closed. The web page clearly states open. Bad business

DO NOT EVEN TRY TO USE THIS COMPANY! These people do not want your business. First of all, you cannot directly call the store (mine is in Prattville AL) rather your call is routed through a central number. When I called them I was told that I would have to contact my previous CPAP provider and have them send all of my information to them in addition to my current doctor's information. My doctor's prescription was not sufficient. When I contacted my previous provider they said they would be happy to send my information to Aerocare, but would need a medical release form signed by me (Aerocare should have known this). I called Aerocare and after waiting 10 minutes on hold, left a message about the medical release form and my email so they could send it to me. They never did. At this point I contacted my doctor's office and they recommended At Home Medical. I called them and it was a world of difference. They told me they did not need my previous provider's information and contacted my doctor's office to get my information. He even told me he would schedule me for an appointment with him in the next day or two. If I could have given them ZERO stars I would have, because they gave me ZERO help.
