Love Pound Melters and the staff. They were a big help in my weight loss journey. Unfortunately, when I stopped going for awhile, I started gaining weight and really wanted to get back on track with them. They said they couldn't help me, because my BMI wasn'considered obese level. I'm 20 pounds overweight and need some help. Just like someone who is 50 lbs. Overweight. That being said, I think they are excellent at helping people reach their goals. I wish they could help me again reach my goals

I am a current customer of Pound Melters, soon to be former customer. The medication given is very helpful, but the staff not so much. Their website states:

"After your first visit you do not need to make an appointment as we have drop in hours for all our patients.
You are not required to but you can come in as often as you would like to be weighed and measured, or just talk about your progress with a practitioner at no extra charge."

Yet, when you go there the staff says that "the manager has limited the drop-ins to once every 6 months"! And they refuse to measure you.

I love these guys! It really helps curb your appetite and you can take what works for you. The first time I tried it I didnt change a thing in my routine and lost 10lbs. Its great.

Be extremely cautious of malpractice. Kathy Brumley and this facility has consistently prescribed Phentermine FOR OVER TWO YEARS. There are obvious NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS yet a consistent prescription and a blind eye to the patients health. Its criminal to hold a title and be so far from ethics, FNP-BC (a “family” nurse practitioner board cert.)

There are records of this patient going to other facilities to get this same medication. Obvious signs of addiction and abuse.

The staff are helpful and pleasent. I've never had to wait more than 10-15 min. The medication is very effective if a good diet and some exercise (not intense) are maintained.

Pound Melters has a friendly staff; clean; and, thr process is changing my life. Lowering my BMI and relieving back and knee pain. The appetite suppressants help alot and reduce late night sugar cravings.
I just to continue on my own for two months and am back today. Stick with it! It really helps.
