I’ve been with them for years. Since doctor popes passing it seems his shoes can’t be filled. The service just keeps declining so time to go else where. Best wishes to them and maybe one day they will return to the level they once where.

Jessica is the only reason I continued to stay at pope. The people who answer the phone, and anybody else I had to deal with are horrible. They have no concerns about a child who just had surgery, who is crying her eyes out in pain. They ignored that situation and cared more about when they would get the payment . Yes I owe and yes I said I would make a payment plan but they still ignored my child. Pope family office is absolutely trash. Except Jessica

YALL!! I went to the dr yesterday at Pope Family Medical Clinic with a MASSIVE ear infection. By massive I mean my right ear is completely swollen closed and half of the right side of my face seriously swollen. Jessica Lunsford had Ms Betty call and check on me today to see if I was any better after the shots and starting orals.
I have been going there a few years now for this and that but nothing as bad as this particular ear infection.
I have NEVER had any dr office call and check in on me in the days following my appointment.

The nurses are great here. They really communicate well and help each other out. This is also the first time I’ve had a doctor actually inquire about what I want for my health. She actually took the extra time to look at what I’m struggling with and made effort to not only give me options regarding my labs but to treat my symptoms. I didn’t feel like just another number on her statistics. I truly felt heard and was able to advocate for my own health. I recommend this clinic.

Would give no stars if possible. I waited 3 weeks for an appointment, they called & left a vm yo be there at 10:45. They also didn't mention they moved from the previous location. I was less than 2 mins away from the new location at 10:42 am & they said I would have been too late and had to reschedule another 3 weeks out. I said no thanks.. idrove 20 mins into Sheridan for this appointment. Won't be going back here. I understand they need to stay on track but very poor communication on their part. Plus I went back and listened to my vm and I was right, and I would have been on time..

The people who work here are so nice and knowledgeable. I've had past experiences with medical professionals brushing me off when I approach them with concerns but for the first time I feel listened to and cared about. Everyone I've seen here has been great! Zero complaints!

I wouldn’t have given any stars if possible! Absolutely the worst!!! I was a patient of Dr Pope for a year and a half. She put me on 60mg of oxycodone. And unless you’ve lived under a rock the last 20 years, everyone knows the dangers and risk involved in taking opiates. I used to be strongly against any use of them. The pain became unbearable and I needed the help. After finding the right dosage, I began to get my life back. Each day got better than the one before l. I never broke any “rules” of the contract you agreed to to be treated. Never asked for my prescription early, never ran short on the month, and never said that it didn’t work as well as they used to. 4 months ago she thought a pain pump might be best for me and last month raised my meds to 75mg’s, and sent me to a different Dr just to see if he had any other ideas to help. After spending almost a hour w me and my father coming up w a plan at least for the next 3 months, the last thing she said was to call next week and tell her what the Dr said and how the medication helped me get thru the days and participate in life stuff. After ignoring our calls w no call backs, I had to get a message relayed thru my psychiatrist from her nurse ( btw the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever dealt w and I used to get cussed out for a living, so good luck w her!) that she dismissed me as a patient w a week before I was supposed to get my monthly refill to this highly addictive drug. So she basically put me in the stereotypical nightmare situation everyone hears about or at least has been the “excuse” for most people that have become addicted to opiates says happened or the reason why they became addicted and I had no idea what I was going to do or how I would get thru it bc everyone knows what that kind of things this exact situation leads to. Thank goodness I found some help, but no thanks to Dr pope or the staff there. I would’ve thought after her acting and saying that she cared about me and my well being and my quality of life, she just left me high and dry and never even indicated much less communicated, that she was releasing me and wouldn’t be refilling my prescription. I really thought a lot more of her and she really had me fooled. I wouldn’t recommend her now to anyone bc you never know if or why she will cut you loose and not communicate anything to you at all! And again, Betty, her nurse, is just rotten! She will hang up on you, interrupt and not listen to any problems you are trying to get solved. Just very unprofessional and rude. But she’s just the assistant to Dr pope, and Dr pope apparently has no sense of what is right for a patient and is more worried about cya than what’s best or even ethical! So disappointed and discouraged and disturbed and disgusted w the way my situation was handled or not handled l! Would hate for someone else to go thru what I did! So go at your own risk!
