Super nice woman working the reception window, they are very helpful. Smiles all around professional and polite. They Txt me reminder for my appointment. It’s very clean here and the waiting area is nice. The equipment and rooms are clean and look nice and modern equipment. Very good experience coming here. Are you excited to see how your baby looks like or if he/she is healthy via an ultrasound? Want to have an affordable way to get this done?

If you say yes to both questions above, DON’T COME TO THIS PLACE!!!! The total bill for ONE ultrasound came out to be $2936. With insurance, we still have to pay over $600 out of pocket. YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. We’ve done ultrasound at other Pomona Valley Imagining centers before and the bill would come out to be around $500 and had about $190 out-of-pocket cost, which makes more sense.

We really should’ve read the reviews before visiting this place. What’s the ethical standard here? Pomona Valley Imaging Center on Grand, what’s the reason behind this deceptive, unethical practice. Do you have the latest technology? No, you don’t. We have seen more advanced technology during our visits at other locations.

Again, avoid this place at all cost unless you’ve got the money.

P.s. the same review is also posted on Yelp. They probably don’t care but I just want you all to know about this imaging center’s unethical practice.

Im surprised to see all the bad reviews this place has! I honestly had a good experience so far (regarding the bill I won’t know until I get it and like all the reviews say I might get overcharged)! I scheduled an ultrasound at this locations since it was closer to me. As soon as I walked in I noticed their office was nice and clean, the receptionist could be a little more friendly but it was ok. I waited about 15 mins before I got called back and I didn’t have to fill out any paperwork. Nancy did my ultrasound and she was very nice and made me feel very comfortable.

Terrible experience, let me count the ways:
- Did you know that even if this place is in network with your health insurance, because this place is affiliated with a HOSPITAL, your co-insurance and their rates are 5 TIMES higher than if you went to a regular imaging facility. Eg. Diagnostic Medical Group, or United Medical Imaging Healthcare. Save money and go to a regular imaging facility!
- appointments are hard to get compared to a regular imaging facility. I was able to get one from UMIH with in a few days
- staff here all have bad attitudes
- facility is dirty and crammed, feels gross just sitting in the waiting room
- imaging techs are not nice and not helpful
- because of the affiliation with hospital, it does alot of teaching, so you will get medical students during your exam, and if you don't like that, there's no way around it.
- Their patient portal is the WORST I've ever seen in my life, nothing works, and it looks like it was created in the 90's, you can't even pay your bill on the patient portal!

AVOID!! This is the LAST time I'm EVER going to go to any of the Pomona Valley facilities.

I called ahead because I was going to be 5 minutes late. The front staff said that was okay and to come still. I got there and everything was fine until the ultrasound tech came out. He was making hand gestures at me and then telling the receptionist something. The receptionist asked me to sign something and meanwhile the ultrasound tech is yelling for me to come in when the receptionist is still needing me to sign something. Finally I go in with the ultrasound tech and this man was legit scolding me and being super rude. I said oh no you are not touching my baby and I no. So I turned around and started to walk out. He was yelling and telling me come back we still have to do the ultrasound and I went straight to the front desk and told them can I reschedule with a different ultrasound tech because this old man is rude and very unprofessional. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet and apologized and looked very embarrassed obviously. When they were making my next appointment this grumpy old man still came out talking mess and being unprofessional

EVERYONE BE AWARE. Pomona Valley Imaging Center is only an affiliate of the Medical Center. Meaning, you will get billed twice, but will only receive one price disclosure. Billing practices are very deceptive.

Prior to my imaging I received a call from the Medical Center saying that my portion after insurance would be $higher value but if I paid cash then its $lower value (does insurance know you solicit a cash payment from their customers?). I selected to let insurance pay it (thats why I pay insurance). I called the Medical Center and paid my bill. I thought my payment portion was taken care of as the Medical Center gave me a $0 receipt. AFTER I PAID THE MEDICAL CENTER, I received an additional bill from Imaging Center. After talking to Imaging Center the bill is for them to "read" the image ($128 by the way).

Completely deceptive to not disclose that a patient will receive bills from two different groups in addition to soliciting cash payment. Medical Center quoted $281 in payment if I went through insurance but $170 if a patient pays cash and avoid insurance (which would cover Medical Center and Imaging Center). If you use insurance then Medical Center will bill $281 and imaging will bill $128.

COMPLETELY ZERO PRICE DISCLOSURE!!

I will avoid using Imaging Center going forward because I dont know if my next HIDDEN bill will be $5k. Scary to think about!

Got a tech here who doesn’t want the parent of a minor in the room for hand X-ray. Why. Would u let ur daughter go with a man in a room with no windows? I’ve never had a problem here about that with my dghtr but I didn’t have a male tech here the last time.

Horrible service had me waiting a hour before they even started looking at all the information I had gave them. Never will I ever go there I specifically ask one employee a question they all answer like parrots 🦜 like a ring circus . They allow someone in the office who is still having symptoms wait then tell the client to finally go wait at their car after touching pens,door ect.
