Needed some last minute items, stopped by this place on a Saturday(most medical supply stores are weekdays only) and was able to get everything I needed. I called first and the gentleman on the phone was very helpful and friendly, same experience in the store as well. Prices are a little higher than online, but they have a brick and mortar store to pay for and you can get your things immediately, so it's worth the tradeoff. Overall very satisfied, I would come here again!

Location: Good, Parking: Road, Service: Good, Price for Product: High, Overall: Was looking for compression socks and Contacted various places. This place was said to have them and they did. I was not happy they did not take insurance for the socks as they were submitted out from my dad's doctor. I was informed the cost would be $54 which I thought was rather high but I went down and got them. Now as I look on the internet, I could have purchased them for half the price. I will have to think hard before I return again...

The driver went far and beyond to help my mom and sister move furniture out of the way to install it.

I would give this place negative 100 stars, but that isn’t available as an option. RUN from this place!

I had the misfortune of speaking to John this afternoon when I called in with questions toward the goal of renting an electric wheelchair for three days to attend a wedding. John became super irritated with me when I had more than one question. He complained that his phones were super busy. I bit my tongue and tolerated that snarky attitude and was about to offer to hold on so he could catch the other calls. Before I could, he asked if I could hold, & I nicely said I could.

When he came back, I wriggled a quote out of him for the 3-day rental (wasn’t easy to get it out of him) and then asked if I could pay a down payment so I was sure I could attend a family wedding which I need the wheelchair for. He seemed put out but took my card number, etc., and before I could give him my email address to get a receipt and contract, he hung up on me. I literally spoke out loud after the call and said to myself, “What the heck!?! Do these people not want business?

Shortly after, my doctor’s office called with the good news that they were able to get my medical insurance to cover the cost so I would be getting one for free (no out of pocket for me).

When I called Pomona Surgical Supply, John answered the phone again. I explained the situation and asked for a refund of the $100 down payment charged to my credit card. He agreed to run the refund but snarkily threw in, “Thanks for nothing” and hung up on me before I could say a word. A more savvy customer service rep would have congratulated me on my good fortune and would have been understanding. Who would pay for something when their insurance will cover it?

John is a terrible representative of the company and is so short-sighted insofar as not understanding that he has not only lost a customer with me but that his rude and sullen behavior (even on the first call) has encouraged me to make sure I tell everyone I know that they should never do business with Pomona Surgical Supply EVER!

I know so many people with mobility issues and medical conditions who need equipment sold or rented by this establishment, so I will make sure they know how disrespectfully and rudely they will be treated. Go anywhere but here!

What a slight on poor Dr. Karl Helliesen and his wife Marie! I’m sure this isn’t the representation they want for their business. If the rude management and staff is replaced, I will reconsider giving them business in the future but not until….

If you go to Yelp under Pomona Surgical Supply and search for the name John in the reviews, you will see that the negative remarks about him go back years, so he's obviously set in his lousy customer service ways!

I had a need today for some pads that no one else had on hand. Lady I talked to said she would set some packs aside, and they were right there when I hit the door - her husband was very helpful. I had needs years ago to get a wheel chair for a transient friend I was helping out. They were courteous with him, and he felt that for once in a long time, someone listened to his needs rather than judging him on the way he dressed.

The employees here are so kind and professional. Helped me get exactly what I needed and even gave me a break on the price. When my mom and I brought in a battery for my aunt's scooter, he was totally honest with us that we did not need to replace the battery right then, even though we were prepared to do so. Great people with great ethics who care about their customers!

I took my mom's scooter to repair estimate, I got a call that they fixed already. My old mom's scooter 🛵 runs like new I'm really surprised the effort and quality of the repair. He even fix small details. The guy was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciate and recommend this place 👍👍

This place is so fk up, don’t support them. The stole my money, charge me 400.00 for lift chair. I called and asked to leave message for mike the disgruntled employee was rude and wouldn’t take message, hung up on me several times disgusting. I’m appalled at the unprofessional employees that this company hires and represents the brand and crucial service for community. He should be fired Mr John despicable
